The key part of that was “as a felon”. They made it seem as though nobody can own one, but it’s only felons who can’t own it unless it is for a job. Also, switchblades are legal in a LOT of states…quite a few things are misleading in this video

Body armor is totally legal, can be purchased off the shelf. Very few states have any restrictions. Restrictions for felons are where they are acting like it is a criminal tool mean nothing to the majority of civilians that can buy it. I own body armor. Machineguns are totally legal, you can buy them as a civilian, they require a $200 tax stamp and must be purchased. You can legally make them as an SOT. Switchblades are totally legal, and easy to purchase and carry in many states. I own some. Nuclear material also generally legal, people purchase it in smoke detectors and radioactive sources that are used for Geiger counters as a test source. Mines are legal, but must be command detonated, or become inactive with time. You can make a mine as a civilian with a tax stamp. Do better research.

also, apart from body armor not being illegal in many places, this business with cluster bombs, I can remember reading a magazine called MILTECH in the late 80's that advertised all manner of crazy insane weapon systems ready to be purchased, one was, CARDOEN CLUSTER BOMBS, their advert said "devastatingly effective" I remember it clearly because it was a full two page spread showing the whole thing, with a cutaway revealing the innards, all the little highly impressive advertisement, if a little dark

We work closely with local police and as private security for some judges and never has it been an issue or even addressed. I used to work security in Denver. We were also encouraged to wear body armor on certain patrols, at our own expense, of course. I never did, for one reason: I never took those patrols, there were plenty of police wannabe muppets who would take those jobs. My company never would pay any of us enough to keep ourselves alive, so I just refused to die in my own way, by working only the most safe posts. Boring, yes, but Win/Win, really. Simple. Still, body armor is in no way illegal, lol. What dumbo wrote this video, anyway?

For example, my state, Wisconsin as of 2016 basically considers knives as tools, and as long as you're able to own a gun (if carrying a concealed knife) or carry them into schools or public places, then you are good. So OTF Knives, switch blades, etc are all legal to own. This is rather beneficial to some emergency services where being able to make use of a knife with one hand saves time when time is critical (IE: firefighters/paramedics)
