That was incredibly sad. I couldn't help getting emotional when I saw how Cory was sitting by himself in the corner. I hope he was able to cope & move on. When I see things like this, it really confounds me that some people think animals don't have feelings or emotions. Cory was definitely grieving the loss of his little friend.

For anyone who says that animals can't feel anything and that they don't have emotions, the way Cory was is complete proof that they are wrong. I couldn't help but cry when seeing the way he say in the corner. I hope that he is alright now and rip little Jesse.😔

She also said " it seems odd that a male would allow something like that." I find it odd that they seem to be projecting their perceptions onto the sloths. There have been many documented cases of animals fostering other animals (sometimes not even of the same species) so why would it be odd for a male sloth. Even more apparent by Cory's behaviour after Jessie passes.

like what the lady said in the video: there needs to be more research in sloth biology. it's useless to string a theory to this (adorable) case because of the amount of information we obviously don't have.

That is so sad! Here I was thinking this lady was so lucky to work with animals and then Jesse dies. it reminds me that these things happen, however they are still sad. I had a feeling he wasn't going to make it but I was hoping he would. It sucks. It really does. Poor Cory... Here's to Jesse...

At least he had a good life and care in the end, that women and Corey did a great job nontheless! Corey clearly misses him no doubt.
