The thing with the Starter Horse is: They're supposed to be our soulhorse. All the other Soulrider and Darkrider horses look special and our horse is just basic af.

it really does- i thought about it recently how Concorde, Meteor, etc look so epic- but then ours looks... boring? even sabine's new horse looks better than ours even tho its a friesian 😭 i think they updated her friesian model because it looks better for some reason

No, My starter is my soulhorse, and she isn’t a basic horse for me.

I like the starter horse, but it really needs updated mane styles so their manes will actually be animated. Also WHY don't the starters have pure black & pure white coat options? (by pure white, I mean like leucistic).

i know!! i never understood why sso decided to give our starters like any coat imaginable, but didnt give us pure white/black coats. Also, i really wish we could change our starters eye color.

The thing that amuses me the most about the fresians is that it would be a relatively easy fix. All they have to do is increase the time between the idle animations and slow it down. If they stood still just a few seconds longer between the goofy animations, they'd be pretty tolerable actually. I am sad about the trakengers, that they look so similar to starters. I think the reason why I don't like the Akhal Tekes is because they only have the roached mane as a unique cut, and I'd like a couple of other unique cuts too. I know the roached mane is the cut for showing stallions tho, but I'm miffed we can't have a deserty flowing mane like the arabians do.

Honestly when they got rid of pony speed it killed the pony champs. I refuse to buy ponies. And I also hate that they got rid of cold resistance and the magic horses changing when near people. Everything that made sense and made horses special is gone

I absolutely LOVE the starter horse. The model, the coats, the animations. Everything. The face is also really cute! I actually own every single one of them because they’re my favorite breed and the buckskin is my favorite horse from the whole game. I also recently fell for the North Swish Horse and I’m planning on buying one.

The new starter horse needs more sculpture and more of an epic look. It looks to cartoony and gentle, whereas I would love my starter horse to be a pretty fiery guy who’s up for anything. I can’t see that in the ones now. I think the north Swedish horses are really cute as their own model. Akhal Tekes look a bit strange with the normal saddles, so do the old Arabians. They just look kinda weird with tack and riders on them in game. The fjords are adorable in my opinion, they were the first breed I bought on this game. (The new ones) Ponies are okay. Just kinda small lol. The Clydesdale looks really off to me, I can’t put my finger on it. The Friesians to me look really cool as a model, strong and bold, but the animations are just not it- the jump they have is great though, but our riders jumping position does NOT do it justice 😭😭

I agree with most of them. I do think SSO could’ve done better with these horses.

I love the starter but the point is almost no one will ride it bc it doenst have special thing or manes or somthing and the trakhners are simular to them The knabstruppers have such big hooves!! But I love them too Ackhal theke is my fav bc of the shape and I love skinny but long horses And percheron and other draft horses bc they are too big😣😣 I love the spoilers of the shires Ill hope sso will bring them out now!!!! I am in love with them And all the horses in the vid these are my fav horses🥰

The Knabstrubbers (or however you spell it) was hated on so much when they were released- All they did was enlarge the hooves, made the face longer and copied and pasted the Andys gaits. :/ I remembered being so disappointed when they were released.

I’m a new player however I’ve been wanting to play this game since the beginning. That being said, what I don’t understand is players saying “oh the gen 3 is too cartoony for my liking I prefer gen 1 all day.” ?!?!?! In my own opinion I’m GLAD I started now cuz the gen 1-2 look like goofy cartoon characters ESPECIALLY gen 1. Idk I’m probably gonna get my throat ripped out here but again my opinion. I personally can’t wait for them to add more breeds and revamp old ones.

Let me explain, The gen 2 and 1 dont have fricken barbie doll eys that are glossed they had good animations back then start stable CARED about there players the horse looked similar to the real ones! I do love the gen 3 horses but quite a few gen 3 horses look so unreal and were messed up. Thats why people say that. I joined the game when game 2 years ago I believe but im saying this from lots of education of Siren the gamer videos but its also anyways understandable! I understand were your coming from!

Im not a new player but i think every gen 1-2 horses look the same, i have some Old ones because i want to remember them when all the old horses are GONE. I really love the Gen 3 and i mean like EVERY gen 3 horses, their Animations are Beautiful! I dont think they need to look that similar to the real horses but i think they should put 2 or 1 special thingy on the starter horse or maybe New manes.

i love magic horses and north swedish horses are my favorite sso breed :')

One of my favourite horses is the heavy dappled grey akhal - teke! I think star stable did design these horses quite well as they do represent what the breed looks like in real life so I don’t know why people don’t really like them. But then again the breed itself, even in real life, is not the best, like the body structure is very skinny and tall but I still like them either way!

As an equestrian myself, I have riden many ponies that are fast. They take larger steps then normal sized horse, but they aren’t faster, larger steps make them LOOK faster. (Not a hate comment, just pointing it out)

Yeah. Also SSO trys to make all the horses the same speed so ponies can still race in the other Champs and not loose from there speed, because I mean if you leveled up a pony and did not know they were slower, I would be mad if I leveled up a pony for champs.

I actually like the friesian :D the friesian horse was even my dream horse when I was new and I still like it but ofcourse its not my dream now but I agree with the most of them! 👍

Tbh, I loved all of the old models in general, had no bugs, no issues. Now you see the new models and they have, bugs that Starstable hasn’t fixed yet. I appreciate you making this video! 😊

I personally think the NSH is simply forgotten because it's an old horse. Back in the day, I remember people liking it and loving it. The thing is: it's a 2018 horse. Nobody cares about 2018 horses anymore. I haven't seen someone ride a lusitano since 2018, an andalusian since 2019, and same thing for an akhal-teke. Sadly old horses get ignored even if they're better because there's new and more iconic breeds like the friesian. Even if it's ugly, people will still prefer it to these horses because it's a more recognized and iconic breed. Rather sad because the dog horse would really need some new animations to actually look and behave like a friesian. EDIT: This is my opinion, I'm not attacking anyone saying they should like the NSH or anything on this list. I personally love the NSH, fjord and clydesdale but I know not anyone likes them.

personally, the reason i dislike the curlys, fjords, and akhal tekes is because of their animations. All of them have weird/stiff animations. The akhal teke's fast gallop looks off to me because their front legs look like they are just flying all over the place, which is the only reason i dont like them, if their gallop was fixed then i would probably buy one. The curlys and fjords both have the same problems, their shoulders are quite stiff and they kind of seem to move a bit slower/faster then their gallop animation, which makes it look like they are sliding and not actually a real horse running on the ground. I like all of these horses models just fine, and have considered getting them myself, but if i do not like the horse fully, then i wont buy it, as it would be a huge waste of starcoins for me because i cant afford to buy starcoins. However, that is just my opinion.

Personally, I love the friesian. It’s my favorite horse and the first one that I bought. For me the animations are fine and dressage with them are fine. The game just made them make cute faces. Idk why people hate them so muck

The fact that the whole thing is a walking glitch that they deliberately "asked for advice on" but then proceeded to completely ignore any and all advice given when it came to them.

The Trakehner is my Favourite Horse! I really wanna buy them all but just got one. The Ponys.. i do like them but not really much, i would buy some of them because their cute. The Fresians.. well My opinion is that they are cute, i like the mains and The head, But what i hate that you see them almost every where you go, I dont have a Fresian but i will buy one because of Clubs. I actually like every Horse / Ponys in Star stable but SSO should work more on the Old horses (Remake)

im an og player and i still love my starter but i remember hoping they'll never update it past gen 1 or 1.5💀💀

I love how you went off on the Fresians. The tone of voice shifted and it was great. Also the gen 1 starters were my favorite too, and the only thing I liked about the gen 1.5 was that the colors and faces remained. Now they are unrecognizable which disconnected me from them. SSO has done so many unnecessary things, “fixes” and changes that weren’t asked for and are unnecessary, to the game it feels like your playing a SSO spin-off game.

I have an Akhal-Tele (actually 3-) and my favorite one is the palomino one and I call him Giraffe in a loving manner LOL

I personally, LOVE the Friesians! They ARE NOT lame! I have four of them and plan to get more. The animations, to me, are ADORABLE! They show the goofy side of the original, elegant and sophisticated Friesians that you normally don't see in real life. It gives them their own personality and I really like that. I know it's your opinion but I honestly felt kind of offended! Not gonna lie! XD But, I for one, ADORE the Friesians. They are my favorite horse breed irl. They are gorgeous and gentle. And that's what makes them unique!

The thing I don't like with the starter horse is that the rider is completely glued to the saddle it looks a bit strange but with the Arabians the rider lifts out of the saddle in a sort of rising canter just my opinion I'm sure others don't agree but Ye have a great day or evening everyone

i feel like the akhal teke hate has died down nowadays, because their lighting bug is fixed. back when they were released, they were the first breed to have this extra layer of lighting, because sso wanted them to shine like the real ones. however, it was completely bugged. most, if not all, saddle pads looked awful on them and this bug wasn’t fixed for over a year. they were honestly unridable.

I like my starter even if its just basic trash, idc what people says about this horse.. the same is with pony or other horses, if it cute and i like how it looks i just buy it. It's not a big deal, it is just a game and games are supposed to be funny. It is make me feel kinda sad when i realised how rude can people be to each other just for game.

Yup. That's why I don't like my starter horse at all. Like they could have added that, at a certain point our starter reaches its true form and the full soulhorse bond, which leads us to a new Customization window where we could give it our final look, with maybe some special effects and special customization JUST SO IT LOOKS MORE LIKE OUR SOULHORSE. Like it'll be fine with me if you could just hide the look with H then whenever you want to just like with the magical ones but fr it's so boring and It makes me sad since it's a horse that is so important in the main questline....yeah...like i said..they could've done better smh

To me all the horses are amazing the only kind of horse I don't like is the Mari horses or however you spell it I just don't like the cerved ears and there face but their is a color that just gets to me its the Chestnuts like I love all other colors but for some reason the Chestnut just doesn't feel like the right color for a horse idk it just feels like that to me

I don't like the starter horse because the Jorvik warmblood is insanely similar to the starter horse and its 750 star coins! They have the same animations so what's the point in buying them? The coats on the Jorvik warmblood are great but when we make our starter horse the friggen coats are crappy compared to the Jorvik warmblood! The Jorvik Frisian looks like a Giraffe who is broken in every place it sucks I love the generation 2 Frisians how could they mess this up so badly!?!?!?!?

Tbh Akhal-Teke horse looks almost the same as the starter horse- And also you said that both of them look cartoony, and yet you still only like the Akhal-Teke. I just think their a bit skinny and they look like a frickin rat cause of the mane and the coat colour of one specifically, but I mean…They have good gaits lol So in my opinion they look really similar so I think if you like one then you like the other. Also why in the damn hell would anyone care about what horse someone is riding? Like who’s gonna bully someone for riding a starter horse, cause I know everyone I’ve met don’t care about that kinda thing lmao That’s just my opinion ig

the Trakehner was amazing but what happened was a lot of people complained about it not being realistic so sso changed them, and then the same people who complained about the OG gaits not being realistic, complained that these gaits were worse :/

Tbf a horse in a video game made for kids between 8-12 will be cartoony, it was expectable

Some horses and ponies in Sso were made back in the day so that’s why they look different and cartoonish

The AT are my favorite. I have all the colors, and I hope they make more. I do agree with you on the Friesians. The animations are ridiculous and the horse looks lame because of them. If they would update that part of them, I would buy them. Thanks for the video!

Surprised that the sso knabstruppers aren’t on this list. I hate those with a burning passion. Definitely one of ssos worst in my opinion.

I LOVE the Clydesdales, because I love the horse breed irl. But I do wish that Star Stable had done better with them. I hope for a Gen 4! Same with Akhal-Tekes. I really do like the trot, their general aura of 'look at me, I'm so snazzy' and I like that they're tall and slender, but they're a little stiff (the gallop especially) and a little too cartoony. So again, hoping for Gen 4 horses!

My most hated horses are the: Friesian, Paso Fino, Knabstrupper, Marwari, magic horses (depending), and probably some more I forgot about bc I hate them LMAO

Honestly, I have 16 starter horses because I love them so much. Lol. Just- stop.. that’s your opinion, you don’t have to be so confident about it.

The really skinny akhal teke in real life are fucking ugly but the ones I've met in real life were very pretty because they didn't seem to have as exaggerated features. I hate the movement and look of the Ahkal's in star stable, there's only four breeds in sso that I like and I can only name two with half decent animations; paint horse and appaloosa

i think a lot of problems we have are bc the community can be toxic- like everyone seems to love their horses until somebody says its ugly or refuses to be your friend because of your horses. nobody would even talk to me until i bought star coins, and a lot of people in this game are just very stuck up and act like they are better than new players because they have a higher level.

Dude are you kidding me? The fricking Shire horse (updated) has more features to a Clydesdale and they arent even one!! I would honestly call my updated shire a Clydesdale because they look more like one, and the Shire has more bays then the Clydesdale does!! Kinda disapointed in sso with the clyde model. :/
