Complementary informations : Yes the MG42 can be built differently, with a suppressor or with the max RPM possible etc We just made the gunsmith so it was the best compromise possible (which for once couldn't have a suppressor)

I build mine to the fastest fire rate i can its op (imo) *but* i recommend before using it. practice your aim like: Tracking,etc To Make The Gun actually OP It's pretty beginner friendly but i do reccomend starting off with some low fire rate guns before using the mg42 to maximize it's ability in ttk (If you're Too Lazy Then Just Use The Gun At Any Time i am not forcing you But if You Want To Feel Its True Power I reccomend Enhancing Your Aim)

Thought they were trolling, but no one was in a squad together, they just used it and nabbong around between spamming and camping with the spear, worst experience in the last 3 years

If anyone think mg42 is the most broken gun in the history, they certainly didn't play when akimbo fennec and 4 tap hvk was meta.

For reference, the GAU 8 Avenger can shoot up to 4.2k rounds per minute, meaning the mg42 can shoot at mkre than a 4th of its fire rate.

Got to Top 5k with HVK this season, but might give this a try now

Kith l suggest making a list of the Worst Metas in CODM

It's like a recoilless fennec that can be used on any range. It slows you (with disable perk), makes you flinch hard, and it even has good mobility. And that's why I stopped fighting them with fire rate, HDR gets the job done 🤙

U missed one thing. 13 mm mag is kinda a mandatory attachment on this gun as it increases its lower arm multiplier to its upper arm value and gives it consistent ttk to a farther range 💀 and its downsides can be fixed by 682 barrel.

I literally use the three Fire Interval attachments + Disable + 12% ADS Speed grip and it still is very good. The recoil is still very manageable and BSA is still very good, I don't think there's a range that it can't handle. I might be inclined to use it long range in BR. It feels like BSA is not much of a problem when your gun is firing so fast.

You are forgetting about HBR... Was available only if you purchased it and was much more broken.

Recoil booster, rapid barrel and 250 round mag is just sick, skeletal stock and granular grip for a high mobility death machine. I just spray and let the pinpoint perk find my targets, dont need a optic.

I so believe codm will nerf mg42 same with tundra when after its first realease

Imo we need some OP guns like this after every season or so... It had been soo long since a new gun became this OP. I kinda like this chaos, and ngl, MG42 just feels so good.

If its getting nerf hopefully its Recoil Pattern adjustment, the gun enables passive playstyle so much with its high firerates and very forgiving mag size.

I burst fire a sniper with this once in a ranked match. I wonder why between burst he didn't fire a single shot. Turns out that the bullet impact is so massive (in my oppinion) that he didn't have time to line up before my next burst

I dont really find the "balance " meta existing on the previous seasons being most(i mean p90) of the guns were just nerfed then gets buffed right after season For reference when akimbo vectors were nerfed barely even anyone uses them anymore for a whole season on top of that the solo vector was rarely used yet again for seasons until it got balanced. Main problem is that devs just keeps rotating the meta.

use pin point if you want to improve aim or use skulker if you want to strafe and walk faster.. mg42 has good hit flinch so use ghost perk if your opponents are using heartbeat sensors.. passive perks- pin pin, toughness, dead silence aggressive perks- skulker, ghost, dead silence.. or tactician, gung-ho, dead silence+stim shots if you want yo play even more aggressive
