I noticed that you didn´t mention if the switches are hot swap or not. That to me would be important because if a switch ever goes bad for whatever reason, if it´s not hot swap, then what you are supposed to do? Also the look is very niche like you said. This keyboard needs a retro style set up to fit in. I´m sure some will love it, but for me it´s hard pass.

Thank you for informing me, I completely forgot to touch on that matter, so yeah unfortunately it isn't hot swappable but it is a very rare case the switches will become damaged but I am sure if they do they have some sort of warranty to cover this, I know the support team are one of the best, but Yeah it would be a great feature to add into a new released if they do make a updated version :) and 100% I really just love the retro vibe which fits my style of having vintage cameras and tech displayed, but if you are going for a gamer aesthetic then yeah this wouldn't fit in.

@@CallumAFKit not being hot swappable makes it a definite no go for me. True that modern switches will last for 50 to 80 million key presses. But when a switch does fail, it´s a major inconvenience having to send it in just to change a switch that could have easily been fixed just by simply making it hot swappable.

couldn't agree more, every other keyboard I own is hot swappable, even the drunkdeer Magnetic switches are hot swap and that's for a board that is on par with the wooting 60HE and only costs £80, where this one is over £400/£500 so dude I know exactly why this would be a definite no go!

There is a typewriter keyboard on amazon made by taihiro or adventurers that is actually hot swappable My only issue with it, the kb looks a bit cheaper or uglier than the qwerkywriter. The design of the tablet holder was a deal breaker for me. And the keycaps don't look as good. I'm sure the keyboard is fine for most people, but for me, the qwerkywriter is the best looking typewriter keyboard out there. But like you said, if only we can ditch the cherry blues for something else. I would have swapped it for kailh box navys for the heavier feel.
