Rex Fury's poster in his jail cell is a reference to the movie Shawshank Redemption. That's the poster that covers the escape tunnel in the main character's jail cell that allows him to escape prison.

I really wish there was a way to play LEGO Dimensions and all of its content without having to track down all the playsets from resellers. Due to licensing issues, I don't think that will happen in an official capacity. Maybe a fan could find a way to emulate and mod the game so that all the characters can be unlocked and used without having the physical toy.

There is a toypad emulator on GitHub which can be used with real PS3 or emulator but it seems quite complicated like requiring a virtual machine or a raspberry pi. But it's good to know that it is possible for someone who wants to try it

I remember all the good times grinding to get these characters! One of the best editors on this platform hands down👌

For the record, The Barrow Wights were small antagonists in the Fellowship of the Ring book where they captured the Hobbits on their way to Bree but they were saved by Tom Bombadil.

A bit of context for the Barrow-wigth. The Barrow-wigths are some evil spirits that the Witch King send to the north of Middle Earth, in his War with Arnor. You see, when Elendil, Isildur and his omited from the movies brother, Anarion, came to Middle Earth, Isildur and Anarion created the realm of Gondor, while Elendil created the realm in the north of Arnor. After the first defeat of Sauron in the end of the Second Age, Arnor began a period of decay and It was split up in three diferent realms. Centuries later, a War between the remainder of Arnor and the Witch King if Angmar, who was later reveald to be a Nazgûl, began. Here, the Witch King send the Barrow-wigths to atack the north. After the end of the war, the Witch King was defeated, but Arnor was in ruins, there for the desolated state of the north in the Lord of the Rings. Meanwhile, the Barrow-wigths ramaind in the North, in graves of the fallen People of Arnor, near the Old Forest. Here, in the 3018 of the Third Age, Frodo, Sam, Merry and Pippin met one. Fortunatly, they were saved by Tom Bombadil, a fantastic character omited from the movies. After this, when Aragorn became the King of the reunited kingdom (Gondor and what one day was Arnor) expelled them from the North, and they were never seen again. I hope this helps to clarify some doubts about them, and to the people that want to know a bit more about Tolkien's world.

19:30 Um... The Rancor, or at least a Baby Rancor, is unlockable in the GBA version of Lego Star Wars 2. I should know since I 100% that game. Though a bit difficult to get since you need every single minikit and purchase every character before it shows up as purchasable. I don't remember how much it was to purchase though as it had been years.

​@@ConduxButshiny Yeah. It was in an isometric perspective, and characters kind of talked in cutscenes with text bubbles with icons in them. The first Lego Star Wars game was also on GBA, but it was bad. Like, the first one didn't have a hub or checkpoints in the levels unlike the console version and the sequel.

If you want to know who is Barrow Wight, you need to read chapter 8 of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. It's called "Fog on the Barrow-Downs". In that chapter Frodo and his friends are caught by sort of a ghost in Barrow Downs (where you get this charactet in Lego Hobbit) and then Tom Bombadil saves them. That's where the hobbits really got their swords.

I'm honestly shocked that the LEGO Sonic is so rare. But, it makes sense, because it's LEGO Dimensions. I remember already being interested in the game, but then they announced and showed off Sonic's gameplay, and that sold it for me. I hope they can rerelease the game with everything included, someday.

Hey Rugged, I have a video suggestion, maybe you could talk about all the difference between the console versions of the Lego games and the handheld versions, for I know that there is different characters in some of the handheld versions that aren't on the console

Lego games are such a big part of my childhood, the lego Batmans, the lego movie, lego city undercover, lego ninjago, the two original Star Wars games, the force awakens, the clone wars, all of these games. 12:00, in the ds version of LOTR, it's actually Sauron and Tom Bombadil who are the most expensive, each costing 1 mil studs. Both have really op attacks, and I love using both of them even though they don't do anything special out of combat. (ds games seem to have higher char prices in general, since the most expensive chars there are usually above 1 mil)

Amazing content! Will the next video be on the cheapest characters in Lego games? Also, where did the 390 come from in the total stud count for getting every single character in every single Lego game?

For the golden ninja you can actually access him pretty early by using Kai in one of the slots for his swords and when you stick them in there it’ll unlock the gate blocking the character token but you have to use co-op I think or use player 2 to go claim the character

I’m very proud that my sister and I managed to unlock Ra’s Al Ghul. And Davy Jones is my favorite character in potc. But did anyone else notice how he said black beard could hit targets but he was literally using a musket?

It would be a bunch of main characters, as you get them for free by playing levels. Unless its the cheapest ones that you have to buy, in which case it may be what you said.

I sadly missed out on it due to this figure never being available in my area! The local toy shop stopped selling lego dimensions figures so the only ones they had were year 1 figures they were trying to get rid of. Seeing the price of it now there's no chance I'm ever getting it 😅

I wish there was more to do with studs in the late games. I’m always obscenely rich from the red bricks, but I never have anything to sink that money into.

I don’t know if he is going by strictly the cost it takes to buy the character, but for Lego marvel superheroes, Deadpool requires you to unlock unlock every single red brick and one of them requires 200 gold bricks, and not to mention each upgrade costs tons and tons of studs. Although you could argue aunt may actually costs more because to unlock her you have to do a mission that requires you to unlock Deadpool first

The Rancor was actually already once playable before. He was usable in the GameBoy Advanced Version of Lego Star Wars the Original Trilogy.

Lego Harry Potter 5-7 was actually my first Lego game to 100% complete next to SWTCS. I thought nothing of the price of Voldemort given that I have not unlocked a full roster on but like one other game before. Working on DC Super Villains now and am loving the game.
