Love your channel and your cheerfully snarky style, Alan. My wife and I watch your latest video every morning over breakfast here in Australia. But we've been saying for a while that you really need to get out more (on KZread). The only thing that's special about this campervan is its exorbitant price. Bespoke professional builders on both sides of the Atlantic and even as far afield as Australia have been building these types of campervans for several years and way cheaper. Every feature that amazes you in this one has been being done with Fiat Ducato/Ram ProMasters, Ford Transits and Mercedes Sprinters by small companies such as Van Life Builds in the UK and Humble Road in the US. Whenever we see such features that have been common for ages popping up in the major manufacturer motorhomes you feature at the big shows in Europe, we look at each other and go 'Well there's another thing they've finally picked up on'. Something else that's part of our morning routine is waiting for you to criticise the size of shower and sink drain plug holes. If we see a shower with a plug hole that looks small but you don't mention it, it's 'Hey Alan - you missed the plug hole!' But something I've always wondered is if this is such a problem, why not just fit one of the smaller sized aftermarket strainers available from online RV accessory stores? They cost very little, just a few dollars. Or simply 3D print one to suit your precise need. Cheers, mate!

That is a good point Dee, only I have been looking for one for eight years and still have not found one! Strangely enough though it is the shower in my van that gets blocked more than the kitchen sink although I think that that is more due to the amount of right angles in the piping!

We were on an aire this year and there was an old Hymer near to us. Family of four in it. They had built little walls around the roof, ladder up the side of the vehicle and sat on folding chairs on it to look out to sea and watch the sun go down. On a French aire where you can be rather packed in that was a cool feature to have.

What is a French aire?

@@GOLDVIOLINbowofdeath in France they have aires de campingcar, places to stay cheaply or sometimes for free in your motorhome. Usually fresh water available and somewhere to empty grey water and toilet cassettes. So ‘aire’ is a sometimes used as a generic term by British motorhomers for any such place.

@@philipellis7039 thx. well now that the British don’t even rule the seas anymore, and since KZread is an American platform they might want to think about who might know the meaning of their slang when they plan on putting a video on KZread. I think the British love their slang even more than us Americans, but I don’t care for it.

Overpriced. You can do a self-build for under 100k to give you something similar.

Awesome van!! Pricey but great for anyone with an extra 300k to burn. I think a copy could be built in US by a custom builder for much less (with better Li capacity)

Cracking van, but for €300,000 you could buy a very well appointed Bluewater sailing yacht for that and sail around the world

I’m putting nicer seating on my roof using painted heavy duty aluminum outdoor bench brackets to attach a back and a seat. Somebody donated them to Habitat for Humanity’s Restore so they didn’t cost me much and I will use nicer wood that isn’t full of knots and isn’t a softwood
