A Theme for Kjell - the song was composed for Kjell Reuterswärd who died in a tragic accident, he was a DICE employee (a programmer) since 2005. Thank you, Johan Skugge & Jukka Rintamäki. This really is an uplifting song in some way.

No it went litterally like this: Their about to grapel, aaaand cue music. Litterally the game spams that annoying fucking music durimg the most insignificant and anti-climatic times. Honestly, all they did was fucking grapel above the ship. Whats the point of hyping up grappling, WITH FUCKING THEME MUSIC. I hope to god the developers designed this game with the sole intent of trolling the FPS shooter franchise.

It's just lack of time. The ending feels strange, Recker is a soldier of US military, a soldier should obey the command (with few exceptions but this is definitely not the case). Yet Recker decided to disobey the command and open the door. They could all get killed if Jin Je is a puppet installed by CIA while rest of China hates him; they have to know that for sure; and Recker's decision put everyone in that room at risk. I am a Chinese and I dislike the story in this game, but f*** that is a horrible story telling too even if it has a story that don't insults China. Also, because of that many players I know treat this game as a joke since its not convincing at all. (By the way, you can find a flyable Q-5 attacker aircraft in campaign, perhaps there were flying content planned but cut to meet deadlines)

10 Years later but nothing has changed.

I played all three ending scenarios (gave me goosebumps every time), and I absolutely loved this game enough to replay it on my PS4 Pro in 2018. I hope the next Battlefield episode returns to a modern warfare era, I really, really do. The line: “boots on fucking ground” still makes me cringe, though. 🤨

You know I always thought of a sequel where there is a plot twist: If you sacrifice either Irish or Hannah, they actually survive but neither will be able to fight in conventional combat. There will be a successor of Adm. Chang. If you leave Valkyrie to its death, Hannah will be an interim leader of the Anti-Chang force.

@@TheIndogamer actually if u look at the campaign and multiplayer u can see both have a story, from BF3 exactly, first war opens against Russia because of them supporting the PLR and because of the nuclear bombs being from Russian origin, the war continues in the multiplayer, but then BF4 goes further, war with Russia keeps going on, and a new danger comes in, Chang, leading China into the war, in the multiplayer you see that at some point China turns against Russia too, and finally in the dlc we see the war go on, USA wins against China and they tell the last locations of the Russian forces, in there there are prototype weapons, vehicles, etc, all making reference to Battlefield 2142 this saying that the war will continue until that date

BF4 didn't had the best campaign ever but I really enjoyed it anyway. This part where you get hooked and then the theme kicks in is just 👌

i wish we could bring back the fantastic old days of bf4: the story, the multiplayer it was awesome everyone was hunting for new waepons, or assignements and enjoyed playing on beatiful maps

Really, that is the biggest thing that bugged you about this game? If anything, the MBT Law should be one of your biggest problem with the game, noob-friendly mechanic, biggest slash damage on infantry out of all rocket launchers and almost pairs with the M320/GP-30 which is designed to combat infantry. Hell it lock-on with active mechanic and it doesn't care if it's air or ground vehicles, it just straight up locks on them, even locks on laser-designated troops buildings away out of line-of-sight from the launch point. Should mention that it has no drop at range whatsoever. Should also mention that when the game came out, it's a guaranteed critical hits with all ground vehicles and one-hit-kill all air vehicles, which rendered SMAW/RPG/Javelin/Stinger/Igla/RAW complete inferior, it was basically flawless, glad that it has been patched. Out of all things and errors this stupid but super-fun game had and is still having until this day (I'm stilling playing it), it completely baffled me that this insignificant thing, bugged you.

He is called Irish because he is unlucky as can be, because he has an almost crippling fear of heights. As you notice, through out the campaign he keeps getting into scenarios where he has to confront his fear of heights.

Best campaign ever. I’ve played battlefield since bad company 2 and to this day BF4 was the best story line and cinematic’s. Loved this game and still playing it to this day

Bruh story and characters are hella worse. Bf3 and bf1 both had one of the best story in battlefield series .

Na I just played it today and it's a buggy fucking mess, on 360 and ps3 it's better but Goddamn, the story was very cliche, I prefer bad company 2s story any day, Haggard, sweets, sarge and Marlowe any day over Pac, Irish, Recker and so on

Just finished playing the old town mission goddamn that one is hard

The part where you hitch a ride on the plane and the theme kicks in is the best part of the campaign.

Sad moment, but one hell of an ending. The theme written for Kjell fit perfectly when the game ended, knowing all the hard work he and the rest of DICE put into the game.

Man ur videos make me wanna start uploading battlefield again. Bf4 was the best man. Not the story but the online portion. Fucking classic. Bf3 story though is sooooo fucking cool im still playing it to this day.

Call me crazy but I loved this campaign and it was one of my first FPS campaign experiences. I feel that this, Battlefield 3 and Halo 4’s campaign are highly underrated.

I meant to put that it's usually the character who defends their country and is intelligent and is new to the main characters he or she meet, that sacrifices themselves.

I sacrificed hannah cause she was "the new one" but I also did the rest afterwards. Oh btw did you know that you don't need to replay the whole campaign to get the ending achievments, just the last mission

This game will always be special to me, for the campaign and multiplayer.

A Theme For Kjell, my favorite song in BF4, but the main theme has a special place in my heart.

Never did like the fact that you as the player don't get to choose to sacrifice yourself. Especially since your character has both the bomb and the detonator.

Logic Question: Why is the USS Valkyrie almost never in a carrier group? They did have on in BF3 in "Going Hunting" where the aircraft carrier was surrounded by destroyers and cruisers. It's just for realism sake because goddamn it's such a good game and that little bit of detail would've been icing on the cake.

I didn’t enjoy it as much. In fact, I only played the final mission a second time so I could send down Irish to get the M249.

Its for those who didnt know whats in this gameplay: Actually there is a system called Fulton surface-to-air recovery system designed in 50's for CIA for emergency recovery of their assets in case their cover is blown. A varient of C-130s initially used to to recover two persons at a time. Ref: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fulton_surface-to-air_recovery_system

the OST in the credits… maaaan bro. shit hits for real. i fucking love this game.

The ending upsets me when u have to decide to give someone the c4 and then them two talk

Biggest complaint about 4 is the maps in single player were better then the online maps.

I really miss BF3 and BF4. The best BF Games in my opinion. I dont like the world war settings in BF1 and BF5.

Irish made me feel I was there, I was the one who had went through it myself and had dealt with what he’s going through. 😭😢😞
