Oh man he's exactly how our rottie puppy was! I'm SO thankful this period in his life is over and understands who the boss is because I've never had such dominant dog before and I was at my wits end! He's the biggest, sweetest most loving obedient dog you can ask for, all it took was a hell of a lot of patience lol

What did you all do to get your dogs obedient?

I think it is going to take both mama and daddy to discipline Oso. Just a hunch. Love it! I am looking forward to seeing Preacher very soon! I can only imagine how all of you feel!

This is such a good story, Oso being taught right from wrong by his mom. And that you let it happen and record it for us to watch is just so interesting to me. You really get a good glimps at puppy social behaviour schooling....

My Cane Corso was the ‘Alpha’ of the litter. She was like this the first week or two that I had her. I just worked with her day and night. After a while, just a snap of the fingers or a look, and she’d snap out of it and listen. Like you said, it’s your energy, which surpasses the physical.

Go back and replay 17:15-17:18 and it sounds like oso says OK like OK Ive had enough lol. Also, on a serious note, if anyone says cashmere is hurting him, if you watch closely she actually goes out of her way to make sure she doesnt even step on him.

Oso is soo cute, but yet bad and mean at the same time . I can tell that Cashmere is wanting to get him straight, that she can’t keep calm or relax until the job is done . Oso is a tough cookie . It’s funny and cute on how Cashmere is trying her best to get him to respect her . Geesh, poor Cashmere will not Stop ✋ until her job is done. Where did he get all that stubbornness from anyways 🤔..I’ve fallen in ❤️with all of the cuties.. They are so cute and have so much character individually.

Cashmere was itching to get at Oso LMAO...Poor Oso he thought he was the King of the castle for awhile lol

I just cannot believe the level of stamina he has!!! He has like an extra battery pack in him somewhere. Pups his age usually poop out. He is showing no sign of having had enough 😂🥳

I miss preacher!! Can't wait to see him again :)

I was feeling compassion for Oso but I see he needs his Mama! He so adorable and tough! Love Oso. I couldn’t handle him but y’all can, he is with the right ones, lol. Love y’all!

U upload, I watch, life is just that simple.

People might think this is mean or they dislike this video but you can honestly see she is not being mean at all. I’ve seen “bite to purposely hurt/bad intent” and I’ve seen “bite to play/be gentle” and Cashmere has gentleness. When she was trying to side submit Oso, her mouth was open and actually her head was to the side so she didn’t even have her teeth on him and she was using the weight of her head as pressure not even her mouth. When she did use her mouth..if at all.. it was as a tool not a weapon if that makes sense lol very gentle bites. I could hear your nephew getting nervous about it but I’m so glad you explained it to him and for us to hear as well. You are completely in the right! It helps the puppy be a better dog. She’s literally training him for you! Rachael, you got this down girl and I’m sooo proud of you and love the way you see things! I love all of the subscribers/commenters who have been humble and open to this type of stuff. It IS different from what most of us are taught and maybe even different from what we would originally/naturally think to handle dog situations. People are now working with their dogs, helping each other, everyone in my opinion has been extremely nice/fun for the most part which makes this an even more enjoyable channel, people are learning so much positive stuff to better themselves, and their relationships with their animals! Soo proud of this channel! Ugh melts my heart!!

Hey Mama Bear, I’ve watched Cashmere train two litters and Oso by far appears to be her most challenging pup yet. What I love about Cashmere though is that (like most Moms) she’s relentless in her pursuit to make her baby respect her. She’s on him always & she’s not going to stop until SHE feels comfortable with his behavior. A little tough love never hurt anybody, in fact it builds character.

This is absolutely hilarious!!! I can’t even tell you the number of times I’ve laughed out loud. What a little booger! Waman up. 😂

Thanks for helping us learn to teach tough dogs be taught manners. And for letting his mamma do what he needs. It’s hard not to be charmed by him, but being strong and playing hard to get afterwards is the best for all!!! You well know and Oso is a great venue on your videos to show how to handle a dominant pup and turn him into a confident, stable dog! Love you.

I love watching your videos. You have taught me so much about proper discipline when raising a puppy. I had a beautiful Rottweiler that passed in the summer. It was my first time owning a large bully breed. I was too soft with him in the beginning and he started resource guarding with paper. He would bite and draw blood if I tried to take it away from him. My wonderful breeder tested him and when my boy went to bite him, he put him on his back very quickly. He then gave me a paper and told me to do the same thing so that my boy would respect me. I only had to do it once and from that moment on that dog let me take anything out of his mouth and never tried to bite again. I’m getting another puppy in the spring and plan on enforcing proper discipline from the get go. Keep up the good work. You are very knowledgeable.

I can't wait to see that. Preacher usually let's cashmere handle the disciplining though. I remember back when Midnight and Blondie were pups, Preacher was trying to stop cashmere from whooping them at some points 😂 but I imagine he'll be more than happy to handle this boy
