What about the resurrection of the many who came out of their tombs after His resurrection. Yes, He is Risen, but if you do not include those risen with Him Paul says we are false witnesses and that He didn't rise if they didn't. See 1 Cor 15. Will you preach Matthew 27:51 as tradition has done for hundreds of years and the say "He is Risen" and stop at verse 51 and close the book right there? The same miracle continues in verses 52 and 53. This is where the whole church world on earth jumps the track of truth. Jesus is Risen not only from His Death on the cross, but out of the Dead Saints that Slept. Paul says in Romans 10:9 that to be saved is not just professing Jesus but Confessing Him as our Lord and believing in our hearts that God raised Him out of THE DEAD! The gospel we must hear and believe is that He died, was buried, and ROSE THE THIRD DAY ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES. Easter is a tradition that makes God's Word of no effect. It is not a Biblical Holiday, but a tradition of men.

Important question? Who is the "RICH MAN"? I Challenge you to study that out. And there are many clues through out chapter 16 in the rich man and Lazarus. When we look at things like a child... we can know Jesus's economy is vastly different than ours. But he uses ours to paint a picture. Paul referring to humanity says " we have this treasure stored up in jars of clay. People are the treasure. This is actually a parable about forgiving debt and settling spiritual accounts. Because if we don't forgive... then our heavenly father won't forgive us. A lot of meat in this parable... keep gleaning it. Shalom

I'm also seeing deathbed evangelism... wheat representing the word in an unprocessed raw way. Oil anointing. The manager could be someone on there death bed. An so in a hope. He begins to share the gospel... he bargains down from 800 to 400 in oil. Which is anointing. 800 in hebrew is pey with means talk. 400 is tav seal covenant or join together. And elef is 1,000 1st strong leader the ox. So you have the alef and the tav. Snd that ones debt is reduced to 800 which is pey to talk about it. ??? I don't know I'm just spewing pondering.

Whose resurrection is celebrated a month before Passover, anyway? King David wouldn't even speak the names of other gods with his lips, yet the Christian religion has somehow managed to repurpose the name of the Queen of Heaven and attach it to the resurrection of the Son of God! He is risen? Do most Christians today even believe Jesus actually died? or was it merely his body that died? Why not be more accurately aligned with the teaching of the immortal soul with the popular Easter phrase "He is Risen" by declaring rather how "His body is Risen?" I'm sorry, Brother David, but I must be a witness of the truth of the Adversary deceives the whole world.

It is true that we need to consider God as our co-owner in all things we own and as a co-partner in all the things we manage. In that way, we surely thrive and succeed because God our partner never goes bankrupt ever.

Thankyou Pastor for a clear and powerful message.please pray for my grown girls ( brought up to know God ) and for their families to come back to God .Thankyou
After relating the parable, Christ said, “The children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light.” That is, worldly-wise men display more wisdom and earnestness in serving themselves than do the professed children of God in their service to Him. So it was in Christ's day. So it is now. Look at the life of many who claim to be Christians. The Lord has endowed them with capabilities, and power, and influence; He has entrusted them with money, that they may be co-workers with Him in the great redemption. All His gifts are to be used in blessing humanity, in relieving the suffering and the needy. We are to feed the hungry, to clothe the naked, to care for the widow and the fatherless, to minister to the distressed and downtrodden. God never meant that the widespread misery in the world should exist. He never meant that one man should have an abundance of the luxuries of life, while the children of others should cry for bread. The means over and above the actual necessities of life are entrusted to man to do good, to bless humanity. The Lord says, “Sell that ye have, and give alms.” Luke 12:33. Be “ready to distribute, willing to communicate.” 1 Timothy 6:18. “When thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind.” Luke 14:13. “Loose the bands of wickedness,” “undo the heavy burdens,” “let the oppressed go free,” “break every yoke.” “Deal thy bread to the hungry,” “bring the poor that are cast out to thy house.” “When thou seest the naked, ... cover him.” “Satisfy the afflicted soul.” Isaiah 58:6, 7, 10. “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” Mark 16:15. These are the Lord's commands. Are the great body of professed Christians doing this work?

"Just a Closer Tune to Thee. Let me listen for the key, Tuned to heaven's harmony, Musically, dear Lord musically." "When the children want to be Piano tuners when they're grown, When the young adults say they'd Like a piano of their own, When their father feels the clunker Was a bargain after all, When the mother plays her favorite hymn And tears begin to fall, When the evidence of practice Leaves the teacher in a daze, When there's soothing of emotions, Even when the toddler plays, When it's so much fun to play, You hate to have to leave so soon, Then you know you've done your duty: The piano is in tune." 😀
I had a dream and this passage was given to me in the dream. I got up and looked it up in the different versions of the Bible but I couldn’t understand what God wants me to do about this reading . I prayed that God would make it clearer to me. Thank you pastor your teaching on this has made it clear to me.

How Awesome is He that this video “popped up” on my recommended list! This parable (along with all of Jesus' parables) are not for the Body of Christ Church members. They are for and about Israel. Keep that in mind, and it's all very easy. It really only gets difficult when we try to apply Israel's doctrine to Paul's doctrine for the Body of Christ Church.

@@bugsocsollie1694 I would contend that although seemingly not Christ’s targeted audience, He uses the Word (yes, even His parables) to speak to His church. If we didn’t believe that, wouldn’t we put our Bibles on a shelf after having read them?

If some of the branches have been broken off, and you, though a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing sap from the olive root, do not boast over those branches. If you do, consider this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you. You will say then,”Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in.” Granted. But they were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but be afraid. For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either.

The key to this parable is that the steward had a “Fear of the Lord”! Which we all know is the key to the 7 gifts of the Holy Spirit and is the foundation of all wisdom! A heathy fear of losing the Lord’s love is what keeps us accountable and not wanting to be separated from God eternally! Many people love Jesus, which is great, but if you do not have a Fear of the Lord you have nothing!❤❤ I teach this to many young people and I pray you too can learn from this! God bless!

We put Christ's blood on our symbolic "door posts" - For it did not matter in the first passover, if a father's hand was shaking, if one thought "Is that enough" OR, one had a change of heart BUT GOT IT DONE. Why is it so hard for people to take a very very costly blood of Jesus Christ and put it on ourselves as a covering!! It did not matter that after doing it for his one year old, he DOUBTED!! Or if he was Certain.. AS long as we realize w/o Christ's blood WE PERISH, and our loved ones cry in agony. Here is a kicker, Even if a father 'lost his mind' and SCRUBBED it off the door post- the fact remains, traces are there, and I believe God Honors any effort. WHAT DO WORKS HAVE TO DO WITH THIS?? NADA!!! Only faith enough to believe it is efficacious. "I WILL SHARE MY GLORY WITH NO MAN! PERIOD BUT I WILL PROVIDE THE BEST NEWS ANY MAN COULD POSSIBLY WANT...And even "we" vcannot mess it up.
Amen Great lesson Holy Spirit Have mercy on me

"Devote your works to the Lord and your thoughts will be established."--bible
LIVE AWARE THAT I WILL STAND BEFORE THE THRONE TO GIVE ACCOUNT to GOD of my time, gifts, resources. We LOVE Jesus with the overflow of His love for us. The lost coin did not repent, the lost sheep does not repent, yet the JOY of God in heaven for the one who repents. The prodigal demonstrates repentance, he got sick of his life, his selfishness and humbly returns to the Father.
The simplest explanation? Invest in developing eternal friendships (harbouring no ill-will) of even materialistic people (non-believers), which will produce spiritual rewards for you in eternity as they too will eventually all return back to God's heavenly kingdom by remembering the kindness and generosity you showed them when you served as God's (imperfect) servant on earth. Jesus thus expounds the principle of Cause and Effect, the Law of Karma through this parable. ❤
