It really good for you and Maverick to do projects together. You know what an impact that has on children. When my brother was 3 yrs old he started hunting ducks, geese and pheasant with our Dad. Boys need to have their dad present. I'm not saying girls can't do the same activities. Before too long the twins will want to go with you. I'm predicting Paxtyn will be next.

Hi Crandall. Yes, The Big Pig Trap that Daniel uses would be ideal, however they are very expensive. You do what you can do. What I did want to suggest to help bring them in that would be affordable is the “stinky cheese “ attractant that Daniel puts on the corn. They can smell it from a long way away.

Wild boar are extremely smart, in most cases a lot smarter than the person trying to catch them. Around here if they detect any human noise they slink away and are seldom seen. They have survived by avoiding human contact and have gotten very good at it. Your whole trap site is covered with human scent and they will smell that. Best of luck.😊

HOGS (Wild BOARS or razorbacks as well call them) I have seen them in the outback attack vehicles whereby they have near ripped doors from the hinges after getting caught up in wire fence netting to protect the vehicle on this paddy basher. (Shooting vehicle) No windows other than steel netting fence paneling welded to the vehicle. Some we rounded up into this wood pallet holding yard only for a few to go nuts to ripping it apart escaping. There was one point in time you couldn’t go camping in the Brindabella mountain range without some fire power to make it out alive. I am sure this is why so many people are never found. They will eat your flesh & all the bones. Watch the movie razorback

I use nothing but rechargeable Batteries they are more economic. They may cost more at first perches but you can use them for year. Just imagine how many packs a batteries you would have to buy in just 1 year for just one of your devices. now imagine only buying 1 set batteries at a slightly higher cost for the next 2, 3 or even 10 years. Many of batteries as long as you find a good product have lasted since before 2009 so that is more than 10 years. And you only have to buy a charger 1 time as long as you find a good one. It took me trial and error to find the best one I could. So maybe just maybe for small fee up front you can have years of money saving energy for your kids and your devices? Think about it people. And also think about this pair the rechargeable batteries with a small solar generator in a emergency natural disaster you can be someones savoir charging medical devices and phones and having batteries you can recharge for any device that need batteries. Even a small thing like that can be life saving and comforting in a natural disaster for you and your neighbors. Ask Candall's dad about that.
