you can be a believer in christ but still make mistakes on the way, We are not perfect. Jesus is. He is love and forgives us for our sins. As long as we try our hardest not to sin! But in this evil world it is impossible, Jesus knows that. No one would get to heaven if what you are saying is true! Even having a bad thought is a sin, And everyone has them mate!!

We can’t control and stop our habitual sin without Jesus. If you can’t stop, you need to fill yourself with The Lord. Most Christians just say satan made me. But they have no self discipline.
