I'm so glad you watched these. I /knew/ from the thumbnails bad things were happening. But refused to watch them so they wouldn't get the ad revenue. And you're so right - we all got a little bit stupider

I've watched this guy start out as a DIYer, a few years back. He sent shivers down my back with the absolute most dangerous use of tools. I've made comments to him to please practice some sort of safety. Only to find out his webcast has gotten bigger and more dangerous because he has more powerful tools, such as a lathe, band saws, welders, etc. But still makes my skin crawl watching him work. BTW, I watch Lift Arc Studios all the time. Great show!

I already know I'm in for several cringes by the title. I HATE "life hacks" because of how dangerous they are. I KNOW you're gonna demolish them. You got a like from me and I haven't even seen a second of the video. Edit: I just saw the "wood chipper". I have a question for God. I NEED TO KNOW WHY YOU ALLOWED THIS MAN TO BE BORN!

First! Although, there is one comment but it is hidden. A nibbler is not the same as a shear, as it punches or nibbles at the material. My dad bought a Milwaukee nibbler in the 90's to cut sheet aluminum and it makes these nasty little crescent shaped pieces of metal that get stuck in the bottom of shoes very easily. They are quite sharp. The edge of the sheet ends up rough as well, but it does not bend the sheet. Luckily, he bought parts to build a cnc plasma table in the 2000's and I ended up building and finishing the table with his help. These videos were quite dumb.......dumber than taking the guard off an angle grinder. I will stick to building or buying higher end purpose made tools. HF can shove a broken death wheel where the sun doesn't shine. The makita $50+ 4" grinder is better than using HF crap for light work. My Milwaukee 5" variable speed angle grinder was probably $150 when bought 22 years ago. If it dies and I can't fix it (already replaced the speed control with the last one I could locate in the USA) I will go with makita, dewalt, or metabo, in a 6" size. This video was boring and kind of stupid, definitely not the kind of boring that Curtis from CEE does, so it got a thumbs down, but I do appreciate you making content and have enjoyed some of your other videos. May you keep all your toes and fingers attached to your body! Cheers!

There are people who have channels who want to show how clever they are. And there are ignorant people out there who respond to it with high praise, even though they will never do anything that they will use these “tools”. So they get validation from these responses. I’d like to know the speed of that motor used for the pvc angle grinder. Often drill motors run at 25,000 rpm while a disk of that size are usually rated at about 13,000. So, what is that motor, and how fast does it go. That disk can fly apart.

There is a good chance angle grinder lawnmower man was also in the nip. Safety sandflies we’re all he wore before his untimely death. By the way, in Ireland we would call these people fecking eejits. Ye can have that phrase if ye want, might be handy for future eejit video reviews.

All but one comment was rational…I happen to go to a better place when I listen to Jimmy. That was unnecessary, in my humble, or maybe not so humble opinion. How many people have achieved the status (and wealth) of the Parrot Heads idol? Buffett changed life for millions, for the better. If you really want some material, there are how to videos with dirt floor workshops where they pour molten metal, then put it into lathes made a century ago, and weld (sometimes ) using cardboard shields. And the shit actually seems to operate! Definitely not OSHA approved practices….
