It does not surprise me,, NRS are very very bad at balancing moves and characters. Starfire, Dead shot, Dr Fate, Cetrion etc. This is the same NRS that thought Sheeva track able, enhancable, delayable stomp was fine for close two years, so yeah if you are looking for a balanced NRS game, you will grow old waiting for it, it does not exsist.

The only problem with Raven's design is... Well... Her face... She kind of looks like a female Shazam... But that was the style NRS went... If they smoothed her lower face, rounded it a little bit and made her cheek bones less prominent... She'd be pretty as heck!

I'd love to see you cover Sinestro-his gives me nightmares to this day. The guy is casually hitting you with 8 projectiles within 3 seconds, 2 of which are overhead (so no ducking) and track you from full screen. Then you finally reach him, and he just knocks you away. Or say you try to punish him, but he has trait? Pew pew, no combo for you.

I agree, I would love to see Raven return if there’s an Injustice 3 but I would like her to have less safe zoning moves and more unique approach options. Maybe she can turn into a giant raven for a midair dash, a slow teleport that acts as a parry, or have an astral projection skill

They're more interesting than Beast Boy who is a green shape shifting man that connects to Doom Patrol and is canonically the only Titan to not die as well as is Raven's love interest. I mean it's not like his death in this very franchise is what causes her to give into Trigon or anything.....

Well that and because 3 out 5 of them have long distance attacks in all of their appearances. Beast Boy would be a mix up grappler thanks to his animal forms as well as fighting prowess, while Dick aka Nightwing is more of combination of zoning as well as close combat as he is the first adopted son of Batman.

Raven is one of my mains in Injustice 1. She's also my favorite DC female character. Hope she returns in Injustice 3 since she was supposed to be in Injustice 2 but didn't happen

I like NRS for making every archetype good. But even I a zoner agree that sometimes their dmg could be busted like why do they do the same dmg as a rushdown character? At least nerf it by 10%. Also before you bring up "make them slower" I'd rather be doing 23% dmg off a bar combo then ever agree too that. Being slow isn't fun look at grapplers.

5:01 That hits high, right.... right? Even NRS wouldn't give us a move whose only counter is a jump with a short enough recovery to punish the jump... right? It feels like you'd take less damage taking the hit than you would from the combo you'd eat by jumping over it.

If I had a nickel for every fighting game character named “Raven” that was extremely easy to play, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice.

Man Neatherrealm sure loves the zoners. Only game where I can't say a zoner was top 3 was MKX and that's just cause it's such a fast pace game that zoning is harder to do in. Every other game one of the top 3 characters is either a full on zoner like Cetrion or like Kabal in MK9 where he's great at everything including zoning.

How? Most of his signature animals are brawlers like gorillas, goats and tigers. The T-Rex could easily be a dash attack and the eagle could probably be his only 'zoning' type of attack.

Ed Boon is more of a figure-head at this point. I don't think he works that closely on the games (and I really doubt he plays or tests them)

Raven was my favorite character in this game alongside Hawkgirl. One of the few character that I could beat Deathstroke with.

The singularity move reminds me of the Ermac Telekinetic Slam

As someone who picked characters because I like them in the comics I gotta say thanks to NRS for making me feel like I was good at this game. Deathstroke, Nightwing, Raven, and Green Arrow were all just completely broken and I couldn't even do basic combos back then

She has 0 defense in this insane game. One mix and she may die from looping mixups. That's how this game was designed. Everyone has insane offense and random levels of defense from from invincible safe wakeups to no wakeups at all

I just want Raven for injustice 3

I’ve heard people call Storm and Phoenix unfair characters in the Marvel vs Capcom series. Storm was always my favorite X-Men but I found her to be incredibly unfair in the Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects fighting game because there was almost nothing you could do to dodge or even block her lightning attack. Storm and Jean have always been OP but I like fighting against stronger characters. It feels good when you overcome a stronger character.

You do realize you can super reflect it right or dodge out of the way, right? I've played it too and she's not that overpowered.

Raven is not really a fighter in close combat. So it makes sense for her to have and do these kind of moves on her opponents.

Well she can be a close combatant shown in how she hand to hand fights opponents in the 2003 show as well as the original comics, it's just magic that's her speciality.

Fun fact this character was even fucking broken in the mobile game at the time, when she was low she would swap health bars with the opponent, meaning she had an 80% hp nuke as soon as she hit 20% health.

I was a Raven Main. ONLY used her and i gottah say she WAS busted. Played against so many top level players and did well but MMH, Batgirl, and Scorpion really hurt me bad.

Raven is my favorite DC character so I really hope she comes back in Injustice 3, with all the Titans of course! Also, she's one of the strongest characters in this universe so it seems logical that she is overpowered 😅

I wish she was in Injustice 2. I know people kept saying she could have been a skin for Enchantress.

Even though they have entirely different fighting styles and magic, not to mention she's a demon whereas enchantress is a glorified witch.

I remember me and my brother made fun of Raven in Injustice by poking fun at her man face model and super deep voice by saying she's secretly a man in disguise (and carries the biggest junk in the game).

Oh hey, I broke my controller playing the story mode of Injustice 1 because I was stuck playing as Wonder Woman against Raven and at the time I didn't even play any fighting games so I was button mashing to see the story animations. Threw my controller, broke it, went to KZread to just see all the stupid cutscenes.

She reminded me of Ermac from MK9

Terra is debatable as she was dead before the story, but Jinx and BB definitely should appear, considering BB is Raven's connection to her humanity as well as the reason she turned fully evil after he died, so he could help Raven come back before they rebuild the Titans stronger than ever.. Jinx would be a great gymnastic character and another spellcaster to the roster, plus her ending could be helping revive Kid Flash, before leading a villain rehabilitation school to give villain kids a second chance.

It's granted not as bad as Rhonda from MK 11, but still underwhelming, plus it didn't help they fused the original 2003 Teen Titans and the at home movies, making a mess of a character.
