The Most Convenient And Newest Hotel To Stay Pre Cruise Near Port Canaveral, FL!
This is a quick look at the new Holiday Inn Express located at 995 Shorewood Drive in Cape Canaveral FL. This hotel just opened in late October 2023 so it still has that new hotel smell for sure. The front desk staff was very friendly. Plenty of on site parking ($15 per day cheaper than port parking) a nice outdoor pool, free hot breakfast and wifi to name a few amenities. If you are cruising from Terminal 3 this hotel is directly across the street from the ship. You can walk right across the street to the ship it's that close! You can also walk out to Jetty Park and watch all the ships leave port if you get there the day before. We highly recommend this hotel. Yes the older Holiday Inn Club Vacation Resort is across the street.
was this room the standard king room ? was the hotel clean? is breakfast included ?

This was considered a Premuim Room. It was actually a freebie anniversary night since we have an IHG card. Only difference that I could tell was it was bigger than a Standard King and it had a walk in shower but that was it. The hotel was super clean. It was less than a month old when we stayed there and yes breakfast is included. Safe travels!
Do they have food delivered? driving down from WI will not be stepping out for dining
