I actually bought that Leon offer back in 2018 and yes he was super op. I can’t really remember if it’s true but I think his invisibility lastet longer but I’m not sure. He was by far the strongest brawler for quite a while.

I loved boxes but i got my first legendary in the 3rd seson in a big box from the bonus rewards. It was amber i was happy but i hate her more than everything on my acc she is rank 18

I know this will sound ABSOLUTELY made up but boxes are the source of one of my best memories of the game: i was playing with a friend on WhatsApp, he asks me if i want to play brawl and i say "bro, imagine if i get enough tokes for a box, open it and get Leon" as a joke... And then it ACTUALLY happened ☠️☠️☠️😭

We have to remember that SC is owned by Tencent now and they need to make their numbers. New brawlers released with an early access deal for money are op on purpose

I definitely would say i kinda miss when it was just level 9. I had over 10 brawlers at level nine with gadgets and star powers and i didnt return to brawl stars until this year and now i gotta go grinding to get to level eleven

Box removal was great . Boxes were too much based on luck and people just love them because of nostalgia . Of course boxes were exciting but star road is much better system .

Mega boxes were not removed because brawl stars suddenly decided to do that. Finland, the country where brawl stars office and all of supercell is located banned loot boxes in video games that have a player base including underage. They decided that loot boxes are a form of gambling basically. And underage are not allowed to gamble. Ig how brawl stars brought back randomality, with star drops was by making them only free, no star drops in the brawl pass plus no star drops that you can be for gems extra. Also I think that is why they are doing those stupid pay walls, with paying gems and then 3 "free" stuff then paying gems and then again

I thin k boxes where good cause of how mutch excited you get then you see that six in the bottom right corner but when your missing only legendarys credits are better because you will at least get them unlike with boxes. Boxes its better forbearly game and worse for late game

I totally get the hate of boxes and not getting what you want but we all are struggling with coins,right? We’re all poor as hell. You say boxes are inconsistent but at least they always gave a couple coins! Getting 5 boxes would get you like maybe 1000 coins? I don’t remember. 5 star drops can give you none or maybe like 250

After the gear rework, the team decided to increase speed for all brawlers and add like more health and damage to all brawlers which… I didn’t get why? But at the point the classic brawl stars died.

Problem with Brawl Stars (I have been playing continuously since 2021): (1) Star drops: mega boxes had much more probability to unlock new brawlers as the highest reward was brawler but with stupid star drops highest reward is legendary star drop which most of the time gives stupid skins sometimes gadget, star power, and rarely hypercharge. All in all if star drop has a 1% chance to be legendary you also need to open 100 legendary star drops to get a brawler. (2) Pay to win system: although p2w aspect of this game is much lesser than squad buster but when a new brawler arrives with only real money purchase option the brawler was broken I mean totally meta but when we got that after the release in brawler unlocking road the brawler get heavily nerfed.

Every single one of these was a good update.. except for the gears cost at launch 1. star road + wildcard power points + star drops(for dopamine) >>>>>>>>>>>>> boxes.. boxes were extremely unfair and f2p who's been playing for several years will still miss ~10 brawlers. In new system for first time f2ps have all the brawlers 2. Leon Update: Brawlers that weren't OP at launch still struggle to be remembered by players, even after receiving buffs. 3. Brawl pass rework: the old pass allowed f2ps to get the latest chromatic brawler and some cool skins.. right now, there's no chromatic rarity and f2ps now receive sooo many skins that they complain on Reddit if a legendary star drop gives a skin

Wdym stardrops 'weren't the best' they were one of the things which literally saved Brawl stars and is one of the reasons its in the position it is
