One of my favorite Caddies. It looked really sharp in silver/black two-tone paint. I remember it being called a "coffin back".

I drove one, the time I stayed in the States. I really love this Seville type. I drove the A Seville, the D and E Seville but the bustleback is the best.

I've don't believe Cadillac and Olds shared dashboard designs as I can see differences with this dash compared to an Olds or Buick. The unique fuel injected V8 and available Bose stereo further sets this car apart from Comparable Oldsmobile

It came from one of the best Cadillac dealerships Sewell Village of Cadillac of Dallas. Now it is just called Sewell Cadillac. Too bad GM did not take advice Sewell to run GM's business.

good content, however didn't talk about the engine, is it a diesel, or a 4.1 litre? The 4.1 had to be kept VERY cool for it to stay running.... both were said to be bad, I really enjoy the "bustle-back", had one for a while in 2004.

My dad had a blue and white Seville like the one pictured. It had the HT 4100 engine which was one of the worst engines GM ever made. My dad spent 3 grand at the Cadillac Deaoership and when we got it back it ran worse than when we took it in. He sold it for $800 a few weeks later. My advice, as Scotty would say, is to run from any Cadillac that has the HT 4100 engine.

Too bad the orignial 1980 engine of the car did not stay with it through the whole run of the car.
