5:02 a little tip here is to always observe your surroundings before rotating, if u did that you would’ve located your key threat which was the guy up on height waiting for you to rotate. From there you could’ve accounted for that worst case scenario in which he sprays you during the rotate and chose a better rotate which might be to drop down and rotate because then you would have your box cover you until you nitro fisted. You also just fisted in The air where you are open and when there is not anybody on that mid ground layer you can drop down a bit and claim your own later above low ground where it’s congested.

The confidence is really good but I noticed that most of the fights you had ended in 50/50s, which led you to taking a lot of damage in return, like at 1:16. Shooting behind peaks and being more protected can really help you keep heals and have more health- you ideally want to win the fight while taking the least return damage as you can.
@Hyperbolicdev

Yeah he has the right mindset but he needs to take advantage of peaks and prefires

Yeah it's true this is good feedback. Thanks for the genuine comment. I just sometimes like to 50/50 especially if it's a stacked lobby, since there's usually a third party that will be looking if the fight goes too long. In this instance there was, and I finished the fight before the third party pushed in to clean up. Although given, it was risky
@14Egoist

@reidtheninja True, it’s really important to end fights fast especially in stacked lobbies where you can easily get third partied. However, at 1:16, the guy in the box was waiting for you to break through so he can prefire. Placing a ramp in the box as soon as you break through to block his shot and quickly editing the ramp could’ve helped you potentially take 0 damage , and the third party wouldn’t have been as big of a problem. Overall, I really enjoy your content. Great video and I liked, keep on doing tournament videos man!

I like big POI’s since if you’re contested there will be places to break off to, but at a small POI if you’re contested you have to 50/50 immediately

My best advice to to purposefully not try to qualify. Start an hour late, so the stakes are off your back and then play. You obviously won't qualify this time, but you'll get used to playing calm in a tournament setting. Then by next time when the nerves return, they won't be nearly as bad.

My main tip is to purposefully lose a tournament. Start an hour late so you have no chance, and when you have no chance you learn how to actually play those scenarios, and you don't get nervous since dying doesn't matter. Then by next tournament you should have eased those nerves by about 50%
@seasicksolid7356

@@reidtheninja great tip, but wouldn’t that make the games kind of dead? I’d probably just queue early but have the idea set on that nothing matters and it’s just practice. Thanks though!
