I feel like Kabams only ideas for "difficulty" nowadays are to make us take unavoidable damage, make defenders literally invincible outside of very specific circumstances, or give defenders insane healing. That KM fight was so ridiculous.

This war season has me seriously contemplating why I still even play the game at all anymore.. not even joking.. it puts it right in my face just how little fun I have and how much of a chore that i avoid it has become

This is equivalent to node 29 Killmonger from way back in the day.

Kabam really went "hey, you guys hated Crush? here's something worse"

Sup, Lags! That KM fight was brutal :/ Unfortunately this probably going to be the scenario this season, lots of fights that we have to pay attention in a whole bunch of stuffs also while controling our itens and putting ourselves in a lot of complicated matchups T_T

@@stevends69 on whole path 9 yeah,she works super well as she is tactic attacker and her special damage is insane,she can become immune to everything and the way you remove prowesses is kinda favourable for her as she gains her own prowess whenever you parry,or hit critical,she also gets low damage as she has such a great physical and energy resistance in diamond form,she has high block proficiency too so you can just keep parrying and yoh know that 7* have higher health pool so she works very well,by the way we are playing tier 4 or 3 I guess,I don't know what are nodes for master players but if there is not much difference on that Killmonger node then it's doable,for us the damage gets reflected when we hit defender when it's stunned,not when we just parry it

how you continued the war after that fight is beyond me. I wouldve taken an hour break to just recuperate from that killmonger

I understand you pain.. last war i was taking on a 7* R3 Killmonger at the mini boss were the attacker gains no power with also a icemen. Men he screwed me up big time. I died like 10 times it was horrible.

I did this fight in off-season. It is ridiculous with KM's poeer gain, the indestructible already in his kit etc. When I did it also the tactic hadnt been nerfed yet. It's still terriible!

KM is actually bugged, because attack tactic should remove only indestructibles from defensive tactic, but as I see it removes also indestructible from KM sp2, that’s why you’re usually out of prowess

I wouldn't put it past the Kabam Dev feeling like "yes, we finally created something that will frustrate and force the top players to use their revives, boosts, etc. to push through."

Kabam disabled the "throw light into air" manipulation.

I am glad you did this video and Hope major of the CCP has given the feedback to Kabam on this war tactic... We are struggling in Tier 2 wars, so I can completely imagine the pressure at tier 1....atb lags

Incredibly frustrating tactic for this game mode. KM by himself is a difficult defender but add all the other nodes on top of it and you are going to have issues.

In the lower tier AW, indestructible passive gets removed by well-timed blocks. Don't know if the defense tactic is the same in higher tier AW.

@@thefourfs9597 at least parry killmonger to remove the indestructible. Also have a little bit of a breather, since killmonger A.I. was so aggressive. Not necessarily to attack, because of one eyed open.

@@abdulrahmanhaitham8922 the coldsnap damage would have been dealt back to Lagacy. He would have had to parry Killmonger without any frostbite or coldsnap on him

I like the combo tracker for stuff like that so I know if I threw a light or not and I don’t accidentally full combo into block

KM is such a pain in that node combined with the new tactic 😬

Couldnt the opposing team theoretically, if they didnt care about variety points, place a full row of r2/3 Killmongers and ban all the counters?

We did something similar. Doubled all our magic thief champs. Won every war so far by flying colors. Teams with 200+ deaths

The fact his indestructible charges from his special 2 also remove the prowess is the most stupid thing in this fight and it shouldn't happens. The prowess should only be removed when the indestructible from the node get taken off, not any indestructible charges...

Is removing the dexterity mastery not ideal here? I just imagine it’s definitely going to be done every war now.

Tough fight lags. The other way to get the AI to turtle is intercepts into a dash back. They tend to back up as well and hold block. You backed up a lot trying to get him to turtle and you got backed down a lot. Just an observation to how I’ve noticed what works with the current ai

After the 1st war were we died 160 times that was the end of our season this meta is ridiculous

been looking for a Masters alliance as i’ve been in a chill silver but ready for something harder but damn this is crazy

Hmm. A thought. One eyed open deals damage based on you giving damage. If he’s indestructible you can’t give damage. So you could parrry heavy. Getting rid of a charge and screen spacing. Prolly not advisable if he has two or less charges. But three or more?

I had this same problem against a killmonger, he just won’t dash back and hold block

Putting tactic defenders on path 9 section 2 is nasty work none of the tactic attackers are immune to shock

I do path 9 also. Last war I faced the same situation but I used cgr with odin synergy and iceman. Cgr clutched it with 10% hp left

Kabam upgraded the defenders crit rate alot

I think emma frost with diamond form is the best counter for stun reflection

Again. With all these difficult nodes I don’t understand why the AI has to be cracked as well. 😭

I have no clue why everyone didn’t just simply boycott the season. Seriously the power the player base holds is withholding its dollars and its actual interaction with the game. The higher tier alliances and the content creators should have come together and forced Kabam to actually do something.

I don't know the nodes in your tier but in our tier which is tier 4 we can just parry that Killmonger, of course the damage will get reflected if we hit him during that stun but you can just remove those indestructible by parrying and not hitting,i did the same fight solo with a 7* emma,she hits like crazy and it wasn't that tough for me,of course the nodes might be different but at lower tier this season is nothing much different,a little bit hard then last one but i am sure kabam did it intentionally so that people can use money or resources

If they just added another node with the ability to inflict an intimidate on like a heavy attack or something, itd be manageable. But when a fight becomes only as doable as the AI allows it. Somethings gotta give

the way you feel lags is the way most of us face without lot of resources in playing the game the A.I just doesn't want to cooperate and then we all get clapped in the fight 😄😄

I'm the guy from opposite team and fully agree with Lags. This war tactic is unplayable and it's forcing many many top tier players to quit competitive aw playing.

Hello there sir try havok next time you see that shock damage and bleed damage will make havoks plasma detonation go insane plus he's tactic and gains prowess naturally thats what works for me on tier 3 at least 😁

Same condition with me ,I use havoc on same node same defender, and I regarted it 🤬🤬🤬🤬

if u parried in that killmonger fight does it get rid of all the indestructibles? if so couldn’t u parry wait for stun to expire then u don’t have to wait for a passive AI and u can take a breather. one eyed open only reflects coldsnap damage for 1.5 seconds or so and half the time u didn’t even have coldsnap up. I’m not saying it’s a great node combination but i still think there r ways around it

It gets rid of as many indestructibles as you have tactics prowess. Parrying definitely would help. Issue was him having coldsnaps about to expire which wouldve done significant damage. Best thing you can really do is parry and bait heavies. Dexing only digs you a deeper hole. Intimidate would be nice to have as an option, but no champs fit the tactics and have it.

Could you parry the hits of KM's special attacks?

I fought a Thing that the node said would regenerate 0.25 % of total health per second when i was close to him,and staying far away was supposed to make the regeneration gradually fall off.i fought for about 8-10 minutes and the regeneration was just constant,certainly was way more than 0.25% a second,I'd land an sp2 and he'd be at full health in 2 seconds.i emailed kabam,but don't really want to write the 3 hour essay they ask for.they can have the video if they want!

tier 1 defense tactic is too powerful. The attack tactic is kinda okayish but the attack tactic pool is insufficient to cover for the defensive placements. Also I think a fatal flaw in the design is the fact if you get cornered you can't escape a death. Ai manipulation with whiffed lights is totally unreliable in the current state of the game and so u get stuck dexing and dexing and if you block they gain power and if they gain power they throw a special and if they throw a special you have to dex it or block it. If you block it they gain more power so it's useless, if you dex it (if you succeed) by then they already maxed out their indestructible charges and you probably can't recover anymore unless ai decides to suddenly cooperate and goes passive, letting you hit block a ton. Therefore I agree that an additional way to remove charges would be needed and intercepting sounds like a great option. Something that can let you handle an aggressive ai which won't let you hit block... because that's needed to deal with this bs

Yip thats a phone smasher fight! That looked horrible to have to do. Just rember that's a few deaths for you = 10 plus for us.

And with this node it forces us players to use 2 of the 6 classes in the game since x magica champs are only mutant and mystic class.

idk if ur supposed to use tactic attackers on tier 1&2... but i did a km on node 45 (tier3) with abs man... took me 3 mins but worked 😇

I reckon cgr with odin prefight may be alot better than iceman for that fight.. i had an r3 duped korg on my path 9 same node, with nearly 400k health, and abs man for me was the one, solo but took a long time.. i dont think korgs a tactic though..

I quit my alliance because of the AW tactic. It's crazy how bad the fights can go when the tactic defenders become aggressive, making even using tactic attackers useless.

start fight with entersecpt and rest of the fight hold block until he uses his heavy, you can evade it without dexing

You know I swear there was a similar defense tactic kabam put in war and had the same feedback of it being horrible. I guess kabam never learn.....

AW is the most twisted and sinister cesspool in this game. Tactics like this shouldn't exist they need to keep it simple. Also the reward disparity between ranks is crazy

I had to fight KM on the stunning reflection and polka dot power. Man that sucked. So I don’t blame him at all for dying 4 times

This also happened to me against gorr (meta defender) node where he is immune to ability accuracy and rich get richer node I try to kill him died 3 times and ask leader for help me in that fight but Leader kicked me from alliance that was my second war in plat 3 alliance and what a help from leader they didn't notice the new meta and kicking players without no reason I am also a skill player Hats off to leader💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔

It was fun and sad at the same time, I didn’t know if I would cry or laugh lol😅😢😂 one thing is for certain, the war tactic is total BS and Kabam knows it is, but they won’t do nothing about it.

maybe they should have test the tactic out first before made public.
