The guy he choked is only fighting cuz blockbuster went out of business 😂 that was fuckin pathetic. I was more disgusted with dudes pathetic single and his "choke defense" how the fuck do you just let a guy lift you and carry like that and NEVER ONCE drop your hip ,roll or spin your weight off the side. When you get caught in a darce or anaconda or even gullatine you fuckin drop that hip and gator roll as hard as you can without breaking your own neck 😂 that guy literally let him pick him up and carry him to the fence.....he never attempted to drop the hip or rollhe actually put his hands on the guys and kept himself balanced in the hold while he was being carried.. almost seemed fixed....damn Yakuza are at it again!

As someone who isn't a ref I can still say that the second one was a wtf moment. The ref was either drunk, or an evil incompetent ref.

Yep that right there is the worst refereeing I've ever seen. The clip they used doesn't quite show how bad it was. That triangle was on for a long time and he was out for ages. I think his opponent let it go out of mercy seeing as the ref was utterly clueless and not about to stop the fight. Imagine if he'd held on to it until the ref actually did something. It might have been another minute or two? There might have been a death in the cage or at the very least some serious brain damage. And then to top it off, right after being put to sleep he gets his arm broken. If I was his cornerman I would have jumped the cage and smashed that ref... utterly negligent. I honestly wonder if that ref was a boxing ref or from a sport like taekwondo or karate because he literally looked like he didnt understand what was happening. All mma refs should be at least blue belt level in BJJ to be allowed to ref. At least they would understand all the main submissions.

@@BiggieTrismegistus Yes for sure - my wife knows what a triangle is and she hasn't trained a day! My point was just - how can you demonstrate that when you apply for the job? I bet they asked this guy - do you know what submissions are - and he said yeah yeah no problem I know MMA! Meanwhile (Cousin - I really need this gig! Pleeeeeeaaaasse? It'll be fine!)

That backstep entry to the leglock was sweet, sort of a modified backstep, im not a big bjj guy but i recently studied up better entries to leg attacks and the backstep from half or full guard is awesome. All the backstep entrys allow you to hunt the legs with putting your face on there feet while they beat your face in....

the referee in that fight was mote aware and had better timing not to say Machida vs Jones was a late stoppage, but Machida looked like he was already out 4-5 seconds before the ref pulled him out and let his body fall like Woody from Toy Story when the humans enter the room

Lol, that depends entirely on who is applying the technique! To be less of a smart-ass: you're trying to force the tap, called a submission because you're trying to get the opponent to surrender or submit to you.

It seems to be to force the tap mostly. Most fighters don't want their limbs getting broken so they don't do it to other people.

Xan we finally put the whole simone merab thing to rest....we all know merab was having a siezure, he wasn't "trying to stay awake" he was fuckin seizing 😂 so ridiculous, i lost alotta respect for ray longo and matt serra after that whole thing.....they know there guy was out and lost RIGHTFULLY to the tech sub. Shameful cuz ricky cleanly submitted a guy thats been MAULING everyone else in the division, ricky simone out wrestled him and finished him in a 3 rounder no less than matt serra and ray longo went a media tour sullying up the kids best win. Total bullshit and fuck serra-longo for there poor sport attitude about it all👍
