Taking ultra-endurance cycling to new extremes in South Africa.
On 26 May international speaker and ultra-endurance cyclist Grant Lottering successfully completed the most brutal non-stop solo fundraising ride ever attempted in South Africa. He covered an astonishing 1,314km from Patensie in the Eastern Cape to Paarl in the Cape Winelands in a ride time of 66 hours 12 minutes and sleeping a total of only 2 hours 50 minutes. He cycles over 17 mountain passes, climbing 12 200m, riding through three days and nights. Of the 1,314km, 923km was off-road, and 391km on tar. It was a bike ride like no other.
