@@LisaWilliams-jb5recause technically it’s still in the game. It’s just the gold variant for metal. Gold and metal as elements aren’t too far apart so why not squish them together

Rushdowns are really strong I agree, but I swear around 50% of the time I should have landed one, it just goes through the opponent, it glitches and does the first attack, or it decides to give me about 5 feet of total distance. It's just luck on whether it decides to function or not.

for the 5 feet distance, its either you used it before you hit them once because those rushdown moves increase ranges and speed when you are in pvp

Good to know they actualy ARE rushdowns and not outright bugged. But dang are they ridiculoulsy hard to trigger...

Some are objectively better then others. There is piercing strikes which almost never lands and I mainly use as a mobility move to stay airborne in a fight then there is knocking blitz which almost always lands. Skull crusher is inbetween landing only if you get close enough and dealing a huge chunk of damage.

Honestly I love piercing strikes it looks so satisfying to hit and its hella combo versatile

as a thermo warlord I can confirm I can deal a fatty amount of damage just by landing a grab

I remember that time I was passing by the calvus's boss room to get an npc crim on that ruined house near it when I was near the wall calvus use that silly trident grab so my silly brain "hey, I should tell my friends about this silly thing while standing still near the wall and the nuke came up (cus somebody way farming him)" then I pretty much left the game out of that stupid thing I did

Most weapons with grabs don't properly throw them down, it just makes them stuck midair so it's very situational, also less stun Rushdown throws u all the way down and gets u KO'd and stunned for long enough for atleast 2 attacks

Eh I still think pulsar or mage beam/musket are the best skills, beam/musket cause it’s free damage (if you know how to aim) and pulsar because it’s basically just a blast with aoe (at least on faster Magics)

Ah yes grabs are broken and for me its a 50/50 the grab actually works instead of not working entirely...

for weapon grabs both players get unstunned at the same time making it possible to escape

It's funny chunking healthbars with a 5 hit rushdown, knocking them down, then following it up with an ultimate art crash

i actually find getting grabbed good for me because i often just instantly mirrored river when i'm out of the grab for a dodge and counter attack they're also amazing mobility

i love my rushdown into 20% size smash. know btw that the person getting grabbed keeps their passive energy regen during its entirety

Electric Knocking Blitz does an absurd damage and somtimes it even paralizes 🗿

Btw, i land it 80% of times because i have a ridiculous AoE (sunken armor and calvus gear lol)

i stil dont think anything can top the broken pulsar spam

the 10 second cooldown in question:

grab aren’t as broken as in AA lol i remembered the good old infinite grab trick using fire magic and the guy trying to do 2v1 me and attack first really beg for me to stop after i grabbed him while his friend stand there confused it’s a guaranteed 1v1 win if you managed to grab the enemy and have good timing on the cooldown and stun duration

U can also land aton of m1s after Especially if u use that halberg weapon from argos

I agree that rushdowns/grabs are a strong combo starter if they actually hit and work properly, but hear me out. The most broken ability in this game is dashing. Don't believe me? Try fighting literally _anyone_ without dashing. I promise you, unless your opponent is really stupid, you will _not_ win. This is also why when my game bugs out and I can't dash anymore for some reason, even if I pick up and put things like gunpowder barrels down, or change my settings from shift to double tap to both and back again, I get absolutely demolished as enemies do nothing but run, heal, and fire ranged moves, and there is nothing I can do to fight back.

In short no one uses grabs because their too inconsistent

I landed a combo with rush once yesterday and took 65% of their hp who are below 1.5k

storm: the most op move is a grab! ok, definetley not ignoring that - it is insanely inconsistent - it is easy to dodge - it is predictable - you can block as soon as it ends - you can dash as soon as it ends - you can use a small blast as it ends its not op its something insane that this community doesent know about called balanced

how do you trigger it bc every time i hit my rushdown, it only does the first hit dmg even when i set it to like 10

Why does my grab do one hit and it just leaves them in the air. Is it a bug?

I have rushdown in boxing but it only does 1 hit or 3 hits max
