I've always been a fan of Terrence Malick.I think his early films like Badlands and Days of Heaven are beautiful masterpieces.
I always enjoyed Terrence Malik films. Days of Heaven is my favorite.
I enjoyed that.
Started Song to Song before, it seemed so trite in the beginning but I knew I would love the artistry. I finally remembered to get back to it, started over...beginning I couldn't suspend, I didn't love anyone...Then midway, I couldn't look away...and by the end I was fully invested. I had to follow it like a dance or imagery and sound and not need it ALL More like a dream or revisiting only memories as we actually do. Then I started to freak out a bit thinking that all our life is, is the snippets...snap shots...paintings of time and it freaked me out.
I held myself together until the end and it just all made me cry.
