@naj hussain Assalamu Alaikum, so if we don’t follow hadith, how will we know how to pray? Quran says pray at certain times of the day, but how many rakat? What even is a rakat? Is Surah fatihah necessary? Only hadith of the prophet (saw) can tell us this. This is just one example. Many of the fundamental practices that every Muslim in the world agrees on depend on the hadith.

@naj hussain Read this: IMPORTANT!! Allah has commanded the people to obey His Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He has enjoined this in many verses of the Quran, of which we will quote some. Allah says (interpretation of the meaning): “Say (O Muhammad): “Obey Allah and the Messenger (Muhammad).” But if they turn away, then Allah does not like the disbelievers.” [3:32] “He who obeys the Messenger (Muhammad), has indeed obeyed Allah, but he who turns away, then we have not sent you (O Muhammad) as a watcher over them.” [4:80] “O you who believe! Obey Allah and obey the Messenger (Muhammad), and those of you (Muslims) who are in authority. (And) if you differ in anything amongst yourselves, refer it to Allah and His Messenger, if you believe in Allah and in the Last Day. That is better and more suitable for final determination.” [4:59] “And perform As‑Salah (Iqamat‑as-Salah), and give Zakah and obey the Messenger (Muhammad) that you may receive mercy (from Allah).” [24:56] And there are many similar verses. The one who rejects the Sunnah is a kafir and an apostate. Al-Suyooti (may Allah have mercy on him) said in his essay Miftah al-Jannah fi Ihtijaj bi’l-Sunnah: Note that whoever denies that the hadeeth of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), whether it describes his words or deeds, so long as it meets the conditions outlined by the scholars, may be quoted as evidence, is a kafir and has gone beyond the pale of Islam; he will be gathered with the Jews and the Christians or whomever Allah wills among the kafir sects [i.e., on the Day of Resurrection]. Those who want to restrict themselves to the Quran only are called al-Quraniyyoon. This view of theirs is an old view which the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) warned against in more than one hadeeth, as we shall see below. Among the soundest evidence that this view is false is the fact that those who say this do not really follow what they say. The Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah explains the Quran, as it explains the number of prayers, how much should be recited in them, which should be recited out loud and which quietly. It also explains the amounts of zakah to be paid and the threshold at which zakah becomes due; the rituals of Hajj and ‘Umrah; how many times one should circumambulate the Ka’bah, go between al-Safa and al-Marwah and stone the Jamarat (pillars), etc. in response to 45:6 is not saying don’t believe in anything else, it means Allah the Exalted says, ﴿ تِلۡكَ ءَايَـٰتُ ٱللَّهِ ﴾ (These are the Ayat of Allah) -- in reference to the Qur'an with the proofs and evidences that it contains, ﴿ نَتۡلُوهَا عَلَيۡكَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ‌ۖ ﴾ (which We recite to you with truth.) for they contain the truth from the Truth (i.e., Allah). Therefore, if they do not believe in Allah's Ayat nor abide by them, what speech after Allah and His Ayat will they then believe in Allah said next, ﴿ وَيۡلٌ۬ لِّكُلِّ أَفَّاكٍ أَثِيمٍ۬ ﴾ (Woe to every sinful liar.) who lies in his speech, often swears, who is worthless, commits and utters sinful acts and statements, and disbelieves in Allah's Ayat, ﴿ يَسۡمَعُ ءَايَـٰتِ ٱللَّهِ تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِ ﴾ (Who hears the Ayat of Allah Tutla (recited) to him,) meaning, being recited to him, ﴿ ثُمَّ يُصِرُّ ﴾ (yet persists) in his disbelief, denial, pride and rebellion, ﴿ كَأَن لَّمۡ يَسۡمَعۡهَا‌ۖ ﴾ (as if he heard them not. ) as if he did not hear them being recited to him, that is tafseer ibn katheer And the Quran states again and again obey Allah and his messenger (SAW), so how to obey his messenger when we don’t see him, the narrations of hadith that were recorded by the ones who saw him is how we obey him. and were authenticated. Hadiths are not books written by the prophet, rather a series of commands and ways to act according to the Quran, the Prophet Muhammed SAW explained and elaborated the quran and how to follow its command. Please look into it and don’t follow your whims and desires. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) also described them in the following terms: “My ummah will split into seventy-three sects, all of whom will be in Hell except one group.” They said: Who are they, O Messenger of Allaah? He said: “(Those who follow) that which I and my companions follow.” This is mentioned in the hadeeth of ‘Abd-Allaah ibn ‘Amr which was recorded and classed as hasan by al-Tirmidhi (2641). It was also classed as hasan by al-‘Iraaqi in Ahkaam al-Qur’aan (3/432), al-‘Iraaqi in Takhreej al-Ihya’ (3/284) and al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Tirmidhi.

@naj hussain i beg you, look into the tafsir in which verses you are citing, you can’t take them out of context to fit your criteria. The Al-Quraniyoon are a misguided sect who deny the messengers ahadith. You must follow the messenger. Read what i said with an open mind. I quoted from the blessed book of Allah

Music is instrumental Quran recitation is vocal. If music is not used for Haram means and purposes then it is not forbidden. These days most of the music serves to spread lewdness. Music should be used to spread love of God and it should stir emotions not intellect. Quran is light for intellect and music as *_emotion manipulating power_* used for meaningful songs that guide to righteousness is supportive at times for a lot of people. Hence intellectually and emotionally two different powers can be used to stabilize one's mind on the path of God's guidance. ...
