You can't adopt a style if it doesn't suit your lifestyle, unless you're a detached magazine living between chrome pages. If you want a home protected from burglars, don't turn to the open Mediterranean style. If you insist on living in artificial climate control don't go for the natural style. If you can't bear mosquitoes, don't get excited about a pergola and a courtyard. Know that the white elastic beauty is achieved with hard work every spring. This is a product that requires regular and full maintenance around the clock. If you are capable of this - your life is great.

The stairs need a guard rail. It can be very dangerous without guard rails. I lived in a small house with stairs with no guard rails and thought nothing of it. Till I fell down it one day, there was nothing to grab on to, and I badly broke my ankle! I still don't have the full range of motion in it, after 10 yrs! Also, our neighbour, who lived in an identical townhouse, fell down her stairs because she got up during the night and wanted to go downstairs to the kitchen. She lost her footing, fell from the top of the stairs, on to the hard tiled floor below, and cracked her head wide open, spilling her brain over the floor. She of course was dead. The company who owned the townhouses, quickly put in guard rails on the stairs of all the houses after that. We should have all sued them, but we just didn't think of it at the time. Put guard rails on the stairs.

They are equal to the price of a typical home in California. If I had 1 million dollars in hand, I would go to Southeast Asia. Specifically, in Vietnam, buy a 5000m2 plot of land facing the sea and build a villa for 300,000$. Holding 1 million dollars here, you will live like a king, go everywhere, eat everything you like, do anything as long as it doesn't break the law. Its because they are greek houses only. Not Mediterranean in general. I live in one if them surrounded by many other similar. The materials to make them are the stones of the area. The wood are usually cypress, , and are rare, though used only for the roof and for the doors and windows.

Although it AI generated. But it's beautiful if someone try to build for themselves.
