It's called resistance and fear. Just saying. The last Grammy conference live stream by Grammy Executives spoke of "individualism" and "inclusivity" and opening up to the world of including and accepting non American Artists and appreciating successes beyond the US was All Talk-No walk. Nonetheless, BTS doesn't really need this anymore because regardless of that golden statue-- to ARMY and to the WORLD, they already are legendary. Winners in every way. BTS has already proven their point and worth-- smashing records that are highly reveared by the US and the UK: MJ, Beatles, BeeGees, Taylor Swift-- all multi-Grammy winners and surpassed their successes worldwide! They've made it. We all know that. But the Grammy's are too scared to acknowledge that fact because of fear and foolish pride.

Funny thing is that before Namjoon joined BH, they didn't even have a trainee program, and in an article interview they said that for, as the boys dubbed, "season 1" (rm, hope, suga) they just did whatever and created music. Then for "season 2" (when the other boys joined) they really did start the training program.😂😂😂

About BU's idea... Bang PD mentioned before that when BTS talked to him what they want to accomplished with their music, what message they want to tell.. big hit entertainment team made the universe so that the message that bts want to tell could be told in a more artistic and effective way. So from the bts idea they created a whole story

The fact that this video was published a week ago and it's already missing their most recent accomplishments just goes to show how much BTS is blowing up right now. The fact that they got No.1 on the BBH100 with Life Goes On, a Korean song with literally no radio spins (that have a huge effect on the charts) but pure fandom power is outstanding and historical. I don't even know how many records they broke with that one. Also, getting a Grammy nomination from the oldfashioned, racist, xenophobic Academy is remarkable. Even though they were snubbed from the big categories that they definitely deserved (acknowledged by many people and media that aren't fans), the acknowledgement shows how transcending their music is. They're still discriminated every day all around the world. In Korea, their success isn't appreciated by the media because BTS did it alone without the help of institutions like radio, tv, media companies etc., so companies in Korea can't really benefit from their success like they would if BTS was from the Big3 and it makes them furious. Around the world, they're still seen as the shallow boyband that isn't white, by prejudiced people who are afraid of change. Yet they still keep providing content for their fans, writing amazing music and sharing their thoughts and feelings amidst this crazy pandemic, helping millions of people. The amount of completely different Dynamite performances in these few months just shows how above and beyond they go to produce quality performnaces. They continue to stay humble and true to themselves despite being the biggest group to ever exist. BTS really is a movement, and they're only starting.

If you haven't seen it, check out Yohan Kim's instrumental version of Dynamite here on YT. He is an 18 year old Korean keyboard prodigy who is just a phenomenal musician. He covers a lot of songs of different genres and kills every one. Yohan's version is just as catchy and entertaining as the BS version. Sticks in your head all day. That's how I discovered who BTS is only 2 weeks ago - loved Yohan's version and curious about the original. I am now hooked on these 7 great talented musicians. I've watched at least 100 videos about them and am so impressed with their singing, songwriting and especially dancing. They are the absolute BEST at synchronized dancing, All good singers, especially Kookie, V and Jimin, and young men with integrity who, with Army, do so many wonderful things around the world. BigHit handled it perfect, giving them the freedom to shine and WOW have they done that. Just what the world needed at this time and people of all ages and nationalities have embraced these guys with the love and the fame they certainly deserve. So satisfying to watch.

I've watched this before and seen another reactor react to this video. It seems this was put together specifically for the BE release; they do have facts correct and pull the heart strings, etc. I do take issue with the implication that BTS/Big Hit having a master plan with regards to the American market and the release of "Dynamite". BTS did in fact already have inroads into the American market years before "Dynamite", and there is a complicated backstory with the writing of Dynamite and Capital Records that may or may not be true(??). What is certainly true is that "Dynamite" wouldn't have come to fruition without the COVID situation - BTS would have been on tour and there would have been no time to focus on cutting a single in only English, doing an MV (plus a B-side MV, and all the other renditions) and a month's worth of promotions. When would they sleep? Seriously? Granted, "Dynamite" was fortuitous but it is an excellent production, well-crafted with an incredible BTS performance. Bit Hit was smart smart smart in building on the perception of BTS with a solid foundation, but that happened years ago, but not with "Dynamite". That solid foundation was not just their music and lyrics, but the members themselves in countless interviews (chaotic and serious), media, broadcasts, performances, concerts, social media, ARMY - it's above and beyond what anybody else was doing in America, in Korea, anywhere! That's what makes them stand out - it's not just "Dynamite". Sorry for the rant, but that's my only issue with this piece. Again, apologies for the rant. Peace.

I agree, but BH have for some time been positioning themselves for the step they took with Dynamite, so when the pandemic cleared the schedule they were ready. The same with BBCon... they had started working on the tech a year ago, so they were ready. BH and I've heard RM are known to think 2 or 3 steps in advance of other group's plans. They are in a way the "perfect storm" of bands, with a confluence of disparate elements creating a vortex that generates its own exponential growth. That's how it feels to me, anyway.

Then the six of them have that high respect to RM as leader. They don't squabble when it comes to each one knowing their place or listening to the advice of the older ones They might not like different things but they come to an agreement for the good of the team, BTS 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

I think what makes the group unique aside from the fact that they are extremely talented and funny is also their relationship with each other. They support each other’s individual growth and achievements. They don’t get jealous of other member’s accomplishments. One’s success is celebrated by the group. Indeed, they are a family. Which I think is a big factor of how far they have become.

And also the fact that they get along and can stand each other’s quirkiness, makes a difference as well, otherwise they wouldn’t have lasted this long and I am so glad that BTS consists of these boys. They are for sure, and this is my opinion, very special and talented from the get go. And I’m pretty sure that that is why they were mistreated in so many ways because deep down people (competitors) knew that they were a force to be reckoned with.

I watched "The Most Beautiful Life Goes On: A Story of BTS" last month, it was on my recommendations. The Asian Theory really did their research and clearly cares about BTS. You're right DT they were lucky to meet each other; they were really fated to meet. And I was fated to find them when I truly needed them. I did mention this before, that they are definitely worldwide now, not just internationally. (I'm sorry if I upset anyone by it before.) BTS was great from the beginning, they've improved so much now and is still going :) (I didn't realize I was already an ARMY back then lol)

  • @user-ur8mb6bh7u

Hahahhaa i remembered in one of the shows/interview , Namjoon was saying that the didn't really know the basis of the planning of the theme of the album until that very day when they do the meeting for the new album. It's usually the planning team in BH that really plans elaborately about what the music scene/trend is like and they would go for it. And Mr Bang is quite insistent on letting them explore their own musical style and he also encourages them to go over and beyond. They were not on a very good financial term but he really did look after the boys with his heart and soul and in return the boys worked really hard for their own success because everyone looked down on them. And recently too, usually the staff will ask the boys what kind of theme(around 2016-till now) that they would work around it to cater the market needs and the guys as well. And as you know, their latest album is really planned by all of BTS themsleves (with guidance from their team) to make their most beautiful album.

Some of the misinformation on this video: 1) 2 AM was not signed under Big Hit Ent. It was more of a joint management btw BH and JYP (I guess BH only responsible for certain aspects but they trained and debuted as JYP artists. ) 2) RM did not audition for Big Hit. Sleepy (the rapper) told Pdogg (Big Hit in-house music producer) about RM and showed him a clip of RM rapping at a club. Pdogg was impressed and told Mr Bang. So Mr Bang went to watch RM perform and decided he had to sign RM. So he told RM to come to Big Hit office. 3) RM was not chosen as the leader right from the start. OMG.. where did he get that idea! 4) From 2010-2011, there were many trainees at BH, I think abt 9-12 (all were rappers bcos originally BTS was supposed to be pure hip hop crew. J-Hope learned to rap from them). These trainees kept changing bcos unlike other labels, at Big Hit, trainees are free to leave if they wish to go. BH didn't audition for singers right after they signed Yoongi!... OMG 🤦‍♀️. Whn BH decided to debut BTS as Hip Hop Idol group, only then BH held audition for Vocal talents and some of the rapper trainees left to join other companies bcos they didn't want to be in Idol Group. ....... Aaaah... I can't continue. I feel sad. Asian Theory channel made this video on BTS for clouts. Pls Baby ARMYs... be careful when you watch content on BTS from that channel. Their research is always faulty. Always rely on content made by real ARMYs.

No, no not luck, it's destiny, they are destiny's children. Then hard work, persistence, their music, the company, the strategy they follow. Loved the video. He did a good job. BTS is too precious to us Armys all over the world. They have United the Globe with their Music. ❤️

Quick correction: JK was actually 13 on SuperStar K (the show aired on April of 2011, before his 14th b-day, and JK signed with BH shortly after in the summer of the same year).

The first miracle was putting those 7 boys together. The second was keeping them together. A lot of groups disperse because of the desire for personal achievements. The boys choose to achieve their goals together for as long as they can. It's their love, faith and trust for each other that keeps their bond tight and strong. As Suga once said, "Before we used to try to understand each other, now we just accept each other." That is no easy feat.
