Those pricey cultural armors are half price in gold from a WvW vendor, the other half is replaced with a bunch of WvW badges, which might or might not be worth it depending on one's activities.

yes that's true! Completely forgot all about that, definitely a better way of getting them if you have enough badges of honor.

The bladed armour is also stat selectable, which is great for players who don't have their ascended or legendary sets completed

Finally we are talking about the true endgame of GW2

Loved this video. Have been playing for 10 years and this is the video that motivated me to go finish some of these collections. Which will definitely help with my lacking fashion game

I have some weird armor sets, but still one of the best full armor sets is the Requiem Armor from LWS4, i think there's two types but the upgraded version is pretty much a pseudo legendary set, and looks incredible!

the bladed armor chest piece is the only one that cannot be bought from itzel merchant. it is a drop from that maps meta.

2:19 If you have a nice leg piece then the chest pieces of very left one and the very right one would be nice looking too^^ 7:12 except the chest piece I believe. You can only get the chest piece from the drop of the night bosses by chance or the meta reward chest from T4 night + 100% map participation

I would have at least mentioned during the cultural armor section that you can get them for a lot cheaper in WvW. That's how i got a lot of mine!

yes that's true, if you play wvw and have enough badges of honor you can save gold buying them that way

Medium warbeast armor and heavy requiem looks great also

Triumphant armor. Part of the WvW legendary armor collection and unlocked with the Triumphant armor reward track in WvW. One reward track per piece. Honorable mentions (not core): Ornate guild armor. Not the hole set, but for mixing and matching. You need to be in a guild that has progressed the guild hall a certain amount to be able to buy the recipes, and as good looking as these pieces are, I don't see them very often. Mistward armor. Heavy only and you level up a Revenant to get it. I see this a lot and for good reason. Blossoming Mst Shard armor if you want to erm... stick out. Literally. Requires Living World S4.

One of the easiest to obtain armor sets is the Requiem armor set from LWS4. If you purchase the expansion and complete the "A Star To Guide Us" achievement, you can one weight set of this armor for free and it looks gorgeous.

no unfortunately I don't, for that exact reason too. I just don't have to time to figure that out and set that up. Although I have been thinking about starting a guild to serve a similar purpose at least

5:40 cost of cultural armour: tier 3 cultural armour is quite expensive but the drain on your gold purse can be lowered significantly by buying them in WvW if you have enough _Badges of Honour_ to spare.

In this section, sometimes I am often confused because there are too many good armors, so confused to make choices 😅

Word of warning for those getting the temple armor in Orr: they do not salvage. If you put pricey runes in them, they are lost without you using an upgrade extractor.

actually on 4/18/2024 you can inspect and find out what it is and where to get it. Plus the color they dyed it.

And with the new coming update, we can inspect armor skins so we know what they are :D

You can buy Cultural Armors from WvW at 50% discount plus some Badges of Honor, by the way.

Looking at it looks like backpack is Warbringer (WvW legendary backpack), helm was dark Templar (hidden, you see it later at the end of vid), shoulders are hound skin, chest looks like Crucible of Eternity dungeon skin, legs are maybe dark Templar as well and legs I can’t see well enough to say. Maybe war beast boots?

My best guess would be, Head- Canthan sun hat Shoulders- Ancient Canthan spaulders Chest- Jade tech cuirass Gloves- Foefire wraps Legs- Jade tech heavy legs Boots- Foefire greaves Back- White feather wings Who ever this is dyed it really well to get that cool black and white look!

Any1 know what the armor set is at 10:33 is? I have an Asura that would look wicked on

a search thought the wiki got me the following: Light Asura armour Mantle and Chest are Armor of the Lich Pants are Flame Legion Have not found the gloves nor boots, sorry :/

Torso and pants are the Decade set Helm is Lightning eyes (forgot the actual name) gemstore item gloves and boots are etherbound set shoulders are waterdragon gemstore item
