Mackinac Island is a well known summer destination that is best known for having a ban on vehicles. Residents and visitors get around by horse-drawn carriages, bikes, and walking. Yes, the lilacs bloom in June. This is a video of a variety of blooms from spring through fall.
When is the best time to visit Mackinac island?

Anytime between May and October. For gardens....middle of May to middle of October. They change them out for spring, summer, and fall so really great to see anytime of the year. May and October can be cooler but quieter. July and August are the warmest as well as the busiest. June and September are our favorite months to visit!

Only if one got very lost, lol! I ran out of good bird audio and thought those birds sounded beautiful! I am really looking forward to capturing much more bird song this spring/summer though! Hope you enjoyed the video! Cheers! 😊✌
