I kind of thought that’s what that was but wasn’t sure. That would sure beat having to lug a vacuum cleaner up and down the stairs.

I had to chuckle. When he was in the garage, he called the central vac system a water filtration system.

I love it when homes have the upstairs leading to the bedrooms tucked away in the back of the home and not when you first come in...Beautiful home

The laundry room wows me.

Wait. The DOG has access to the water system pipes and tubes and all that stuff?? So the dog can CHEW on and jump on (and possibly pee on it.). Nah. Bad move. Close off the crate area from that area. A crate is supposed to be a cozy SAFE space. The rest was very cool! Love the master !

Right, get a dog in there with being left alone issues and it will tear something up in that room. At a shelter I volunteer at we've had dogs brought in that have such issues and destroyed a house of furniture, walls, or doors.

think they did that on purpose, that way if you don't have a dog all you gotta do is not add a dog bed but if you do, then all you have to do is really spend minimal time and money just making a back for it, and can even customize its size to match that of your own breed of dog

Yeah I agree, the pet station not necessary, better uses for that space. I do like the pet wash though.

I have started to do it on ones I can find. Sometimes the homes are too new and the builder hasn’t uploaded the plan to their website.

Perfect house.

This is a great house, beautiful features but too much "flex" space. All bedrooms should have their own en suite with that much space. The kitchen was cool and I like the lower ceiling in the living room. Landscaping and pool are a plus. Having no basement at all is a minus. Even just a comfortable half basement would work. There has to be somewhere to go in case of a tornado. I don't like the designated wine features. Not everyone is a wine snob. I would probably put an outside entrance and make the above garage space into an apartment type space.

That builder seemed hooked on double doors for some reason :D

Beautiful home. The exterior design is very much like My sister's house built in 1932 in a Tudor style. Smaller in size though.

Nice house but i'm not a fan of those half door things thats all over the house. I would change that to either standard doors or pocket doors personally. Garage seems small to me and that little spot to put a dog, not sure about that. I like bigger dogs so I am afraid they might damage that equipment in that little area. I like the stairs being tucked at the back of the house though. I would add a balcony in that loft area overlooking the pool. I think that would look nice there. I would put glass doors in that pink room and use it as a home office. I would change the color to a dark brown or something like that.

Second house I’ve seen with butler pantry, yes would love to have that.

The house is nice,however I would make some changes. Reduce the number of windows. Then a wooden solid core doors for the front door. Reduce the size of the windows in the front of the house. The dog kennel will be deleted. As my dog has the run of the family room area and most the time she’s on her side of the couch on her blanket watching TV. The adding of the home theater upstairs. it’s good that they have the gas oven in the custom range hood. However, I would have to add a pot filler other than that it looks pretty nice. The laundry room is killer window deletion in the garage. Keep a couple of them that would be about it.

Question on a floor covering....on the second story there is the 'gym room' and the flooring looks like a carpet? is it carpet or something else? Very curious because of the texture. Thanks! Also I am assuming this is a 'stick built' home?

The whole house is outstanding but it seems like there is a lot of wasted space. It is gorgeous though!

The shower/tub area looks like 1980’s tile.

Can you close the door to the toilet in the master while inside? There is no bench to put on your shoes by the door to the garage. Are these all full size double doors or half doors that need to be opened? Is it just me or will all the wine have to be taken off the wall if someone needs to work on the water heater? Looked narrow and then having to duck in to get in there.

What GORGEOUS home - On a scale, I gave her a 9 because I would have loved to have seen a fireplace in owners' suite. I would not allow the dog in that space that leads to the furnaces -- too many wires to chew on.

If I had $2.5 million for a house, I doubt if it would be this one and I'm not sure why. It just doesn't do anything for me. I can't complain about the floor plan. Of course, everyone would personalize the decor. Maybe it thinking about keeping 6000sqft neat & tidy that turns me off. Yes, people who owns these homes have domestic services.

Even for 2.5 million you will not have a wall-hung toilet. 😉I didn't really like the layout of the first floor. But the designers' work is very good and the bedrooms are a wonderful size.

Very nice but overpriced by about $1m.

The tile strip in that upstairs bathroom looks a bit like a big snake skin

You know what this house could use? More double doors.

Who is buying these 2.5 mil homes? The median home price in this country is just over $400,000 and the NAR determined that with interest rates being what they are, you need to make at least around $100,000 plus to afford that. The median American income is $74,000 or around that. So most Americans can not afford to buy a house right now. My small house has doubled in price since I purchased it and I’m trying to pay it off in ten years and put it in a trust so my kids have a place to live.
