I’m sorry, I get it E bikes are really really expensive especially if you want a good one. But can we stop placing affordable under bikes that are 1000$ I get some of you have money like that but a lot of us think affordable is anything from 200-500$ and even then that’s a lot for some people. I feel ya, I try to sell the idea to my wife and as soon as the price comes up it's a brick wall. I think it may become more like the tv market over time if the market gets flooded and we see more infrastructure tax credits applied to alternative travel, bikes scooters etcetera. Those with a bit more disposable income have to drive sales while those of us who don't will have to show demand by pestering developers and businesses to get to lower price points, so let's get annoying lol

I sort of get where you are coming from and I thought the same way until I got into buying E bikes And scooters. So far I have had 2 Ancheer Folding Bikes $600, 2 Razor Scooter Eco $450 smarts, and 1 Hover 1 Pioneer $300. That's a total of $ $2400 retail. Now I got 1 Eco for almost free ($40 cashback from Kohls. plus someone gave me gift money) and I got the Hover 1 onsale during black Friday for $180 so a little less. So I've rode Fold scooters, bikes and Sit dowm scooters. The most affordable E-anything is a Foldable stand up scooter. $250-$350. The cons are, they are not for long distance and most of us use them in urban settings so you're asking for tire popping plus they only take a max weight of like 150-200 in this price range. Sit down scooters are the next best option for heavier riders usually up to 220 lbs and cost $400-500 but there are a limited amount in that price range and usually they are lead acid battery powered which is a no no for Cold fall and Winter as the miles will drop from 100% 10 miles to 2 miles, it WILL die. The Razor ecosmart is very upgradable if you want but no cold riding period. The last option is best $500-$750, E-Bikes. They carry weights up to 300lbs, their distance is 20-40 miles and their batteries are always lithium so you can ride in cold weather no problem. They are usually less heavy 30-45lbs than Sit down scooter 40-70lbs. One of the biggest issues in all of these price ranges is customer support and warranty. If you buy these you better learn how to fix things on your own. There will be no help for you and you better buy a reliable brand as it is a coin flip if it'll last for years if you don't. When you hit the $1000 price tag the customer service becomes high quality, the the brands are very popular, they are willing to help and they are sure to last a very long time. That is why the higher quality ones cost so much. Instead of complaining just save up more money and buy a $1000 one if you can't afford it in one shot. If it took 4 months to save $500, well in 4 more months, you'll have $1000. If you don't want to do that you can pay monthly over the course of 12 months instead as there are various payment plans to pay it off.

@@codybuttron1330 There's already laws in place for 2023 for tax credits for E-vehicles which includes bikes and scooters. Also, people really need to take the save and pay approach to life. If you want something for $1000, what's the difference between $500 and $1000? Time. Don't buy the $500, wait and save for the $1000 in cash. Budget, and find out what wasteful habits you havs, most of us do. Knock off that morning coffee from starbucks and that's $120 a month right there. $6 a day for 5 days for 4 weeks. That's just 1 example.

Does anyone know how to set the pas level power percentage in setup? On my Heybike I can set pas1 = 35%, pas2 = 45%, ..., pas5 = 100%.

For me I think it's better to get a used bucket for the price of these e bikes. Really depends on the reason why u wanna get one.

What do you think about the bikes from lectric? They look about the same as this one. I'm looking to buy an electric bike, I like the folding aspect but it isn't necessary. I like the fat tire electric bikes, but don't want to pay fat money.

I’ve seen them around. I will reach out to try to see if they’d be down for an unbiased review. Yea the folding part isn’t necessary for a lot of people, but can be pretty useful for space saving. I think this bike offers a lot of what others do in a higher price point. I don’t think it’s a bad buy, and being that a lot of these bike manufacturers are made in the same factory with the same parts but with subtle differences, this would be a good one. Don’t feel pressed to get anything you are unsure about. Search around and you’ll find what best works for you.

Watched Andy Kirby do a bike like this but he modified it so it was getting more power w/ just a shunt mod and it was pulling 1500w after that.... Pretty sick and I'd love to have one just to try it out for a while, also curious if it can pull a bike trailer too.

Bought a Cybertrack 200 for 599.99 at Walmart. Can’t seem to find a lot about it. Couple reviews. Want to upgrade to a shock and add BMX bars. Watched a lot of videos and ordered some stuff so I guess we will see what happens. You should review that bike. Don’t know why it’s so cheap right now but it’s a good bike so far.

I just ordered one yesterday & I was wondering the same thing. At $599 it out classes everything but how is the bike holding up?

I got this same model gm -500 I got 320 miles on it but I got it up to 35mph 0-9 pas levels 😅for the price this is a steal this bike heavy duty I road trails but only thing not good to ride in heavy rain the part fold😢the bike came a latched 😮 cover ur display bike will act up park the bike it took off by its self being parked

This isn't an "affordable" bike. It's almost 3x the price of the one that Costco has been selling. There's a lot of fat tire bikes like this one out now. As you pointed out. Lectric being the most popular of the $999 grouping. I'm sure you're trying to keep your sponsors happy while making money with videos. Nothing wrong with that. Kinda overkill listing both your direct Paypal and your Super Thanks as well. All these fat tired folding bikes with hi/low seating and racks are literally the same. Thus the same price. So it is hard to make a discerning videos by making this product "shine" when there's all these carbon copies out there on the market.

The ones at Costco definitely aren’t the same. A lot of these have different motor configurations with the battery configurations. So the price point is pretty accurate when it comes to the ones in the $909 range that have 750 white motor with 48 V battery. As for a listing my PayPal, I didn’t even realize that I copy pasted the wrong section for the description. That must’ve been from one of the giveaway things I was doing. Either way it doesn’t really matter and this is not a sponsor video where they were paying me. You are right that a lot of these bikes are very similar and basically carbon copies of each other from China. I’ve called that out in previous videos. This bike is definitely for someone out there but definitely not for everyone. Same thing goes for any Amazon bike. I appreciate you stopping by and bringing the PayPal thing to my attention. I took it out and as for The super thing you’re talking about? I don’t know anything about that. It’s just part of the KZread AdSense program. Nobody has to use it. @@MikeFede The Super Thanks is a recent thing by YT. The best i've seen for funding the poster. You keep 70%. I've been looking for a fat tire electric bike that arrives in 1pc, is foldable, no installation of parts, & a rack to tie-strap a milk crate to. Problem is there's too many of them. Need one for my fishing treks from the SUV. The inclines to occasional wild dogs & pigs are starting to wear thin. Plus after getting Covid the uphill sections are playing on my heart. I have over a dz sponsors for my channel but i'm not an expert on E-Bikes. So in the meantime i'm educating myself. So far the $999 Lectric has caught my interest. I think for all you E-Bike gurus to review this type of bike must be getting harder. Too many coming out, as you pointed out. But thanks for your reply.

I took some time off because of an Achilles tendon injury. I like all things cycling. BMX videos will be back and in the mix this week. Not going to be focused on one specific style of cycling since I enjoy all aspects.🤘🏽

Ecotric bikes are a total POS and the battery only lasts 6 months. Ecotric customer serivce is garbage and basically tell you to keep buying more items. The bike itself is so heavy without the battery and motor to assist, its like pushing your car to work. STAY WAY THIS VIDEO IS OUTDATED SO BEWARE!!
