I need a Lentil in my life.

I’m 73y.o., about 2years ago I started photographing birds, I’m now obsessed with birds. Such amazing creatures and to be able to fly is magical. I even got a little budgie named Little Bird, best pet ever. Enjoy your bird friends.

Love the sounds she's making - likely commenting on the treats and snacks. I forget how fast the Red-breasted Nuthatches fly as well - they can really dart in and out from branches and trees. Thanks for sharing.

I think so too!

The voices of nuthatches always have effected me emotionally. It's like a direct road to my heart. I love their energy and feistiness. They are very aggressive pushing other birds competing away, so I have usually tried to calm them down when hand feeding them. Chickadees and Nuthatches are my favourites of all the birds. Heck I love them all, but they have a special place in my heart.

The nuthatches were going crazy when I came home from groceries today. The notorious magpies came and ate all the peanuts. I wouldn't mind but they take all and then crap everywhere. The joys of feeding birds. Love your channel

I'm always amazed at how you are able to recognize individual birds and how much they trust you. Also, I've heard that lichens growing on bark of both living and dead trees is a sure sign of very clean and fresh air. So judging by what I see in this video, you must live in a rather pristine environment.

I live to hear birds. And I just love to hear the chatter that is obviously directed at you, as they voice what is on their mind. It's just undescribably heart warming. And they lend themselves to interpretation too, giving us the way to cross over to their society at least momentarily. Even seconds of an encounter makes for memories that can last a lifetime. They mean that much to us. Priceless. Thank you So Much for your adventures and life-long connections that we sneak a peak at. It's just pure joy.

They sound like a mix between a messaging machine, and a Walmart RC car! Very cute birdies! We get the brown headed ones here in VA. Also very chatty.

I've been a bird watcher nearly all of my life. I live in the Kansas City, Missouri area next to virgin timber and normally we see the White Breasted Nuthatch on a regular basis. For the first time in 25 years I now see a pair of Red Breasted Nuthatches. They are delightful.

As a bird lover and caregiver/provider...THIS WARMS MY HEART!

Well that just brightened my day and gave me a big smile! Thank you! I don't think I've ever heard a bird chitter-chatter so much like that... sweetest little thing ever! 🥰

She’s So adorable! I love watching the nuthatches at my feeder- favorites, very vocal!

That tiny little creature can make me forget about a crappy day in one second of song! And that on my phone.

Watched on 2-17-24. One good thing about technology that one persons passion can be transmitted to thousands for their enjoyment.

This is what people should be doing with nature. 💙

The White-Breasted Nuthatch that come for the peanuts I put out in my front and backyard are hilarious. The way they walk sideways and upside-down on fences and trees while making their 'Meh' 'Meh' sounds simultaneously with each step is too cute. I call the one that comes most often Mey-Mey.

I love it when they do that.
