In the UK, I found out the best pitta bread to use for making Hawawshi is Warburtons "easy to fill" whole meal pittas. You can buy them from any major supermarket. They are slightly more on the expensive side but for me, it's worth it.

Hey man, absolutely love your videos, I've made a handful of your recipes and they're amazing. As someone who grew up in Kuwait who now lives in America, you are a goldmine. One suggestion: please don't go super clickbait with the titles. Often when I'm looking for something to cook, I'll scroll through your channel to find a dish to make, and a title like "The Most ADDICTIVE Street Food In Egypt" doesn't give me any information about what it is. Having the name of the recipe in the title is super helpful and I'm sure will allow people to find it much easier if they're searching for "Make homemade x" or "recipe for x." They won't know if it's a recipe for Arayes if it isn't in the title. You don't have it in the description either.

These look quite similar to arayes, which I learned about from another recipe on this channel. Those had baharat as the main spice mix and parsley instead of green chili in the paste. One of the best foods I've ever eaten, so I can confidently recommend this Egyptian version too even if it's a little different!

@@rowantharwat9195 To be honest as a person from the Gulf, arayes is definitely way more popular here in this region, most people have probably never tried hawawshi or if they did it was a one time only thing when they travelled to Egypt or something like that. I tried both and honestly you probably would like whichever one you grew up eating. For me that was arayes, but not all arayes is created equal, it can be really delicious or a bit underwhelming. I would say a main reason is the type of bread used to make it.
