Tinubu can never do anything about the coup in West Africa, because Tinubu himself came to power through democratic coup so there is no difference. If a genuine person come to power in Nigeria then he will be able to influence others for now no way.

The US and EU support underdeveloped countries with loans, bailouts and military equipment. As a matter of international policy, the Tinubu govt can strengthen the naira and Nigeria’s territorial integrity by driving the ECOWAS to buy Nigerian military hardware, cars, technologies etc through bailout loans and services. The AfCFTA is a working Act. They can explore bonds and natural resources of these states as collateral. We’ve seen this play out over and over again in modern global economics.
