Read the fine print, ambiguous changes to constitutional land rights? 'The Voice' will inevitably open the dam walls on a plethora of Native Title claims which will result in every property owner in Australia having to pay rent. It will be a rent tax. It means every Australian home owner and landlord will pay an extra tax (rent tax). They say we are on stolen land and therefore you are 'renters' a sign of goodwill to pay extra tax. It will depend on the value of your home. If you have say a 1.5 million house in Sydney you will probably pay 1 to 2% rent tax meaning 10 to 20k per year. Landlords will simply increase rent for tenants to cover the cost. Where will this money go? It will feed a bureaucracy. New developments will also pay extra fees to develop on 'stolen land’.

Aboriginals are just first squatters but they've contributed nothing as far as any worthwhile invention like electricity phones cars TV's washing machines etc all they've built on hundreds of years was a coat hanger that flew back and a long stick they blow into hardly much different than a bj.

Aim for Equal Opportunity, not Equal Outcome. Assuring a section in government for a people group solely for the colour of their skin will only increase division and the discriminatory distinction between Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islanders and everyone else, essentially what Martin Luther King's 'I have a dream' speech was targeting against directly. A much better solution would instead be for schools and education systems in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander areas being improved and equipped with the same resources as the rest of the government schools. This also includes promoting cultures that contribute to individual success in concerned fields. An example of a culture that needs improving in these communities are family households, where 29% of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families belong to single parent households, as opposed to the 15.9% for the entirety of Australia. That is just an example, but reserving a unique path to direct influence on government decisions for one race and not the rest, is clearly not a solution and is one of the main things the Civil Rights movement was fighting against.

Peter Dutton has every right to ask for the fine print. There is a precedent from Labour that must be considered. In 1982 the Whitlam Labour Government established the National Indigenous Conference to develop a treaty between the Aboriginal Nations and Australia. This treaty sought to return sovereignty to Aboriginal peoples. This included original reserves to be acquired by the government and given as freehold to aboriginal peoples. Self-government for each tribal territory. Payment of 5% of GDP per annum for 195 years. The return of Forests and National Parks (already happening) Mineral rights to the land. Tax exemption for 195 years. The reservation of seats in Federal and State parliaments and a number of other cultural issues. There are a bunch of political extremists already involved in this Voice ready to be involved in further development of the Voice. Whitlam is one of Albanese's heros and it would not surprise me that he wants to be one step up on Whitlam. Albanese has not had a good track record in being truthful, so when he says "trust me", "all the detail will be worked out after the referendum", I would be very afraid. If any of this stuff is being considered, he would not want people to know about it.

My Question is what constitutes an Aborigine? To be Aboriginal you must be born here! That is a must. But I would argue is at what point does the gene pool end? It also is an issue when people born in England Claim to be Aboriginal ?? Surely if we rights over and above the rights of another Australians born here or migrant here that is a citizen. This is Racism ! I will also ask. We currently face the biggest threat to Australian safety. That threat is coming from China and the current leadership.
