This stones colour is so beautiful just left natural too, people do pay big for natural stones. What an incredible find.
It's kinda funny, that big chip off of the "blobby" they treated looks kinda like the shape of australia, but upside down.

They should walk ant dark with uv torch and they would easily spot an opal
I think they ruined the colour treating the rock.

Agree. It was way prettier before they treated it. "Treating it" ruined it.

At first we thought may be a Metro but it's to pretty it has colors plus diamonds on it not sure what's inside it it maybe weights 500 lbs wishing we had something to break it in half

the acid fumes just smell really bad, hence the mask. Smoking/ vaping silica dust your wifes perfume is much worse for your lungs. Besides they are outside in the wind

most people do not want treated, i'm surprised they did that and if they sell it as treated it should decrease the price not increase. but they may not be honest about it

@@gamermikeoxlong I actually work in the industry here in the United States, as well as go to school for gemology. Reputable dealers and jewelers should disclose if anything is treated, but unfortunately, it doesn’t always happen. That’s why it’s important to purchase from people that you trust and who have clean and great reputations.
