The Monocle Guide to Better Living | A Review

Ойын-сауық

Hello! :) Today I am reviewing a wonderful coffee-table style book- The Monocle Guide to Better Living (edited by Andrew Tuck and Santiago Rodriguez Tarditi). This wonderful book introduced me to many little nooks and crannies around the globe: from the best bikes, to lesser known fashion shows, to how a well-run hotel should operate. I really enjoyed making a cup of coffee and browsing a couple pages at a time this last week, and hope you enjoy this book as much as I did!

The photography always outshines the writing in Monocle-based books.

Lovely to see a review of it and yes - this monocle idea of good things=money is an overarching idea across whole monocle series that also kinda... makes me uncomfortable sometimes. If you'd review other books from monocle series i'd really love to see maybe a tiny flip-through with a pause on a few pages (maybe shown from the above?). Just a suggestion

I am pondering between the Guide to Better Living vs. Book of Gentle Living also by Monocle. Have you by any chance read the latter?
