Eddy Mercks had to abandon that tdf due to an inflamed kidney and getting sick after the sucker punch ultimately leaving him unable to win his 6th tdf. Which was very likely to had happened.

I would be blocked for several races, for beating the shit out of a fan in front of the cameras, if itwas his fault that I would crash.
