By that logic we are all criminals I guess. There is a study stating that on average people break several laws each year without knowing. I get your point to a degree but it is way more nuanced than that and even court of law context changes if something is considered a crime or not. Let's not even go into the abundance of laws not making sense and are contradictory to ones own human rights, but that is a topic that would take hours to explain. In other words, it's more nuanced and not as black and white as you are claiming it to be.

When he was trying to make the argument of lacking knowledge of the laws of the road, the problem is you don't need a license to realize you need to pull over when you see emergency lights and hear emergency sirens? I mean we all known this since childhood. That has nothing to do with understanding nuanced road laws and everything to do with the lack of accountability from the driver unwilling to pull over for emergency vehicles.
