I'm a die hard Liverpool fan. It's a total waste Grealish going to City. To have him sitting on the bench is robbing him and football fans. He should of gone to a club were he would be playing every week. Too good to be benched. A good move for his bank and trophy cabinet. But what value those trophies if you spent most of the campaigns watching from the bench. Hollow victories. Should of come to us.

As a Villa fan, im thankful for what he did to our club. I remember the first year back to the prem, he could have left the club. We were playing so badly, nothing was good except him, carrying us so hard. He signed another contract with us, and that is why we could sell him for 100m. He did that on purpose, he didnt want to leave is boyhood club for free. For that, and for so many others things he did, I'm greatful

As a villa fan (also in the Trinity Road stand last night) I neither clapped nor booed just sang "Villa Til I Die", only way to react to it imo

As a City fan I was on the edge of my seat during the second half what a performance by Villa fantastic game 👏👏👏

Let us imagine it is YOU and not Grealish. You leave at the same kind of time Jack did and get booed. Alternatively, as per your idea, if YOU left when Villa was struggling or at the bottom with Villa fans already frustrated and angry at their position and probable relegation YOU, then, would be accused of "leaving a sinking ship". Can you imagine the comments? "Just when we REALLY needed him to help pull us away from the bottom he leaves for greener pastures!".. You then can not win. As a villa fan I will never forget how he helped us get back to the premier league and kept us up. Have to be honest though was stunned and did not expect him to leave. Do feel betrayed seeing him in a Man City shirt. Local lad turned rival its bizarre. Stevie G almost left Liverpool for Chelsea but didn’t because he loves Liverpool. Its all about Money sadly at the end of the day.

Then after saying he was so close to joining utd but they wouldn't pay the money and only cuz that fell through, he signed on. He deserves to be playing at the top, no doubt, he's an unreal talent. It's like England being 5/0 at 1/2 time against Albania, recently" and an Albanian saying " We DREW the second half". Not making any allowances for City being 2/0 up AT United recently and sitting back and doing the same today. I am not a City fan (though I loved their League Title team of 1969 ) but their approach is come and attack us but you will NOT score two AND we might catch you on the break.
