Today we are going to take a look at a modern ak chest rig for the ak47 and ak74. The type 56 M chest rig is an updated modern version of the type 56 Chinese chest rig we know and love. Parashooter gear also has a type 81M rig which is a 4 cell chest rig modeled after the Chinese type 81. Check them out online or on instagram to see their other custom offerings.

Tried finding one all out of stock I want a coyote color one to match my multicam gear in type 81 or 56 with molle set so I can add my Russian coyote tan pistol mag pouches and my russian coyote tan molle gear pouches for my oioer bottle and extra ammunition in. I have my type 56 AK chest rig and a Russian afghan cold war AK chest rig.
can you fit two ar mags per pouch like you can on the standard type 56?

It should hold 40-round AR mags with no issue. I have an original Chicom rig, and it holds my 40's no problem, so I don't see why this one would have an issue with it.
I like to have one but they’re out of stock.
Can you wear a backpack with this
Chicom type 51's are less than $20!

Fastex buckles! Lol i love the idea and what theyve done as far as improvements but i just cant see paying the $115 when the original as well as the re issued modern chicom type 56s and 81s are less than $20

Geist 88 when I was looking for a 56 the cheapest out there was about 25-35 shipped, to me, well worth the money for the updated rig but it’s all personal preference. Personally, I love it 😃

Geist 88 Chicom doesnt have the updated materials, harness attachments, molle and may have issues with U.S. Palm/Xtech Mags.
So basically... expensive... holds only 3 mags....mmmm I'm out. Y'all should look at the recon chest rig condor... it's epic and only 40 bucks

Condor is cheap trash made outside of the United States. I'd rather buy American made.
