Drew has always had a nasty attitude and I don't get why they get annoyed anytime a model makes a suggestion or a request, they always sum it up as "she's being difficult to work with on set"

I kinda miss Mr. Jay. There's no denying he was a great creative director and a motivator.

Did anyone catch Drew at 3:52??! So he was smiling in her face, agreeing with her statements on the makeup and wig. Then he came back to speak and turned the ENTIRE situation into a "her attitude, her complaining" sort of deal. When he himself didn't care for any of it either, because let's be serious NONE of the models' looks were that amazing. We get models are supposed to be silent and basically dolls of the industry but this wasn't as confrontational as he made it seem on panel.

If Shanice had stayed quiet and gotten a photo at panel that had featured her wig down by her eyebrows you bet the judges would have called her out for not saying anything. There was no win in that situation and the hair stylists all need firing.

They knew it, too! They crew was just too on their high horse to admit that they didn’t know how to style her. Cared more about putting her in her place than getting the shot.

I don't know who the wigologist that installed that wig was but they need to go back to school, because that wig was straight tacky.

So they were mad at shaniece, but everything she said was 100% true? the wrong makeup and hair can ruin ur pics, that’s what I think happened to Erin, her look was so tacky and cheesy even her modeling skills couldn’t fix it. I don’t think shaniece meant to be confrontational.

Kathambi Mirero she is so resilient though. I love her bounce back ability. I love how she can still slay even when things are different from the other girls

Shaniece had some very good points about her looks.

They said “Shanice’s complaining is what held her back” um I think not. That first wig looked like it was from party city. Get a real hairstylist.

When you bring children into the world very young that's your choice, your kids are supposed to come first, you did what you are supposed to do. If you have dreams, put off sex or protect yourself so you don't get pregnant and follow your career ambitions.

​@@neddyconstant6141​​yes absolutely, however it's very unfortunate for the girls because no one knows what really happens behind the scenes, I think they are getting hair and makeup for many hours and shooting for the whole day that we don't see, and the producers and the photoshoot directors emotionally abused them so that they can make them angry or uncomfortable and then got mad at them when they complaints, there is definitely a reason why models are complaining, I really can't blame the models. Also Melrose didn't just act like a diva for no reason, she won a challenge where she was told she could act like a diva for the photoshoot but then Jay gets mad at her when she acts like a diva, Naomi Campbell would never torture models as much as Antm did to the girls.❤

I remember when Tyra told a girl at an elimation that her picture looked bad due to the way they styled her and said next time speech up but in Shanice case even through she was right she was given the side eye. I know you Tyra fans remember that episode.

Kyla's look was not at all what I imagine when I hear "cyber sexy", I thought she was gonna have more of a futuristic robot look or something... Rio's wasn't what I thought it would be either, but I don't hate the Twiggy vibe on her. And Shanice looked SO much better with the disco queen look than in that That's So Raven outfit...

For somebody to work for PAPER magazine I expect so much more. Tyra needs to bring back the runway legend Ms Jay.

Miss Jay shouldve been here instead of Drew. Also missing Jay Manuel . and there's very few girls but still no 'action' on photoshoots unlike previous cycles where they have photoshoots in the river or forest or they pose with animals/insects. something that would really get their ass out and bring the modelling into their so called Next level fierce. everything looks so scripted now

To be honest, The Red Carpet Ready look was very 'drag queenish' because it was really overdone. Shanice had a point and Drew is too harsh on her. The themes were all weird. Jeana looked TOO pale. Khrystyana probably had the best shoot. Rio was really overrated because that shoot was NOTHING like the 50's and I don't think that's what a 50's DreamGirl would look like. Kyla looked very awkward. Blonde on her looks a bit tacky. The styling looks so carnivalistic. Shanice was NOT confrontational. She was right- if she never spoke up, she would be sent home.
