Dude, what Hardy has done on this album is nothing short of historic. There is so many of us who came from rural America and fiercely identify with country lyrics yet grew up listening to Sabbath, Pantera, Metallica ect, and a love for heavy music. It’s been tried before but never as masterfully as this. This is the shit we always dreamed of hearing. Two worlds colliding in the most beautiful way.

Joey Moi is the secret to this all in addition to Hardy. Joey produced Nickelback and gave those songs the big sound this has. Truly a great album here.

I couldn't agree more! I grew up in rural Tennessee and will always identify with country music, but I have loved Rock/Metal since my teenage years. It's hard to believe I'm 35 and just now hearing country-core, or whatever else you want to call it. Hardy is a legend!

He is truly so creative. To have the song "The Mockingbird and the Crow" not only split genres halfway through but also split the entire albums genres into two dead center of the album is genius with "the mockingbird" being 8.5 country songs and "the crow" being 8.5 rock songs.

Loved your video! It’s so great to see someone else as excited as I am about what HARDY is doing. As a 49 YO who loves country and rock equally I don’t think I have felt so excited about an artist ever!

When I heard screen and I AIN’T IN THE COUNTRY NO MORE I had pretty similar reactions- this man is a pure gift from God for a beautful mix of rock and country and I’m all for it. So many emotions tied to just notes and lyrics it’s insane

I have been excited for this album since he first announced it. It will definitely be my favorite album of the year. Hardy just doesn't miss.

Fishy, of all the reaction channels, yours stands out with background you have and I dig how you break them down. It seems like my taste is dead up like yours so I know I’m onto something when I see you have done a reaction to something I like. As for Hardy? This man is one of the best damn writers in a long time and his ability to nail those catchy parts is insane. I’m getting closer to 60 than 50 and my trust in these new guys coming up is very happy. @@FischtankProductions hell yeah man, I’ve been a rock fan, like Metallica and stuff, but none of the hard stuff, but this album completely changed my perspective. Like you said, colliding genres is definitely cool! I would call it like a “redneck rock” genre haha

My favorites that weren't pre-released were probably i in country, screen, and .30-06. I also love how drink one for me is a counterpart to Give Heaven Some Hell, Truck Bed was counterpart to Boots, and beer was counterpart to Jack.

This album was so surprising! Especially when I got to RADIO SONG. That was a blast!

Beer and Jack are similar to me, and Drink One For Me is like the other perspective of Give Heaven Some Hell! In Give heaven some hell he says to drink some beer up there and in drink one for me he says something like you won’t believe but there no beer up there! Hardy is so creative.

WORTH THE WAIT! AMAZING ALBUM! HARDY IS THE BEST SONGWRITER IN MUSIC. NOT JUST COUNTRY ALL OF MUSIC! MY SENTIMEMTS EXACTLY ON MAKING THE PERFECT MUSIC!!

Here lies country music feels the most country as far as his voice goes. I can here these songs on the radio, but honestly, I think he's too cool for it. He's too unique, just like his title song says. All his songs are so profound. I love how all parts of this album are intertwined with each other, the songs, graphics, text in title, order of songs, etc. I've never seen anything like this. He's truly one of a kind. I've only heard one rock song so far. I'm here for it!!!

I also don't care for country music all that much- but then there is HARDY! ❤️ This album is pretty hot. BTW- Fisch- you completely come straight alive when the rock songs came on! You are so fun to watch!

The song "drink one for me" is written from the prospective of his best friend who passed away. He wrote "give heaven some hell" about him and references him in the song "truck" also.

Just finished watching/listening. WHAT A FLIPPING ALBUM!!!! Love how you hear the different influences of rock bands (incubus, filter, breaking benjamin), notice the wordplay that Hardy is known for, and have connected personally to the music. So happy you have this album Fisch and Hardy better keep pumping these albums out like once a year now right?!? :). Lastly.....I am a speech language pathologist and geek out at the language play that Hardy uses (examples: using multiple meaning words like Rock, Screen, etc. in his lyrics, the general phrasing and grammatical phrasing of his sentences which brings freshness to every song he writes, etc. This album showcases all of that so damn well!!!

The pre-releases for this album were so incredible that I’ve never had such high expectations for the album. The country side definitely met them. I really liked Beer and Screen. However the rock side fell a little short. I didn’t really like any that hadn’t already been released
