I am a third party in the Israel/palestine conflict. i know that there are PLENTY of arabs, jews etc that want peace. However, this is a asymmetrical conflict/war. There is a good argument that it is a kin to a prison riot. The people of Gaza are in a prison, that is hard to argue against. Israel have absolute power over those people. Israel could if they want completely annihilate Gaza. They have the fire power and man power. At the same time they are extremely threatened by their neighbouring countries and therefore need to be able to protect them selfs. It is my belief that both of the aggressive factions of the two sides needs to make consessions. But is HAS to start in Israel. It just has to. They hold more power. They HAVE to show compassion in the face of absolute cruelty. Not saying they can't defend them selfs et.c. But they have to power to break this cycle of death. Hope as few people as possible have to die, live in fear and have loved ones taken from them. Much love from Sweden
