Ariel is literally running MMA since he’s gone independent. He really showed his how much his true potential was hidden whilst at ESPN. He’s made more noise in a week being independent than he has a full year at ESPN and that’s just facts. He runs the MMA hour, interviewing tonnes of fighters, interviewing entertainment figures such as WWE Stars and Jeremy Piven, then was commentating and interviewing at a Showtime event. If the big wigs at ESPN wanted him to fail so badly they should of kept him, if they kept him he’d be still doing a fraction of what he’s capable of and not revealing his full potential, whoever was pushing to get him out played the wrong move. Since he’s gone independent he’s stole ESPNs viewers, is making 20 times more of a splash and its branching out everywhere. Bad move on their parts. What a checkmate. Always bet on yourself. And lastly well done for standing up for you self recently, it mustn’t of been easy listening to all these people talk about you and lie about you, and you had to constantly take the high road and bite your lip. Now you are setting the record straight and we all love to see it. Cheers Helwani.

There’s something special about the HW division, it’s not been the blue riband premiere division of boxing for so many years for nothing. I think some of us knew it was always there but lord. Ariel saw something many did not when he went full-independent. He has been amazing in his career but this is top-class entertainment and coverage

After watching Ian `Garry’s interview he will be a world champion. He has that total calmness & optimism plus a one track mind. 23 he sounds like a 40 year old who has seen everything in life. I can’t wait to see him fight. 🔥

1. Paddy’s interview here was a let down. 2. Ian Garrys interview got me pumped for his debut. He had the energy that I was hoping to get from Paddy. 3. This Ariel/Brendan beef has really showed how much of a 2 faced snake in the grass that Brendan is.

Why is everyone saying paddys debut was the best ? I like the guy but his debut was on a fight night against someone without a name. Michael chandler debuted on a conor mcgregor card against dan hooker, starched him, backflipped off the cage and cut a sick promo. Recency bias is nuts lol. Anderson silva's was the best ever imo.
