Wonderboy is 100% right. Rules are for EVERYONE. This is PRO fighting. Someone doesn't make weight, there should be heavy penalties. Repeat offenders should be banned from the promotion and booted back to amateur hour. NOBODY to blame, but the opponent who didn't do his job. It's disrespectful to the fighters, organization and the fans, and basically a FORFEIT...so yeah. Wonderboy and anyone in this situation should get paid in full.

Props to Justin. He did great. And he might have even put out the head games to Dustin regarding initially saying it was going to be a "car crash for the ages" with the real intention of being his elevated, measured and controlled self in the octagon. Knowing that this version of Gaethje could of showed up is exactly what made this fight 50/50 for me. When Justin turned a corner with Ferguson and showed his levels, he also showed he could be a champion. And he played the game right and learned from his mistakes. This elevated Gaethje is dangerous to everyone. Including Oliveira and the Champ, Makachev. Well done Gaethje, ready for another belt attempt for him. This version of Gaethje most definitely has the ability to wear the strap.

Doesn’t the trilogy fit perfectly with the timeline or am I wrong? Before the end of the year: - Islam vs Charles 2 - Volk vs Illa - Dustin vs Justin 3 UFC decides who gets LW titleshot. I’d say winner of the trilogy because Volk vs Islam 2 would need a massive build-up and I imagine Volk wants a long camp to prepare for that fight.

People are constantly overanalyzing what Ariel has to say. It’s easy to shape any narrative you want when you cut up every five words someone says. Ariel was in the wrong for bringing up Dana hitting his wife to Jamahal and it’s unfortunate because it’s stupid and I think that’s a big reason why they got off on the wrong foot. Hill is not in a good place right now and looking for others to blame, which is a natural reaction we’ve all been guilty of and likely experienced under much less serious circumstances. I truly think Jamahal and Ariel are both good people and hope they can get over this.

Wonderboy did his job.. Not his fault about what happened.. Plus Wonderboy always makes weight and never caught doing anything illegal to prepare for his fights.. So pay the dude, look at other fighters were they get caught cheating or always calling out other fighters.. Wonderboy is 100% clean and does his job like always..

Amen to Dustin Poirier's comment on that if they allow Conor McGregor to bypass the process Usada / the UFC has in place for PPV views and cash money for the promotion, it throws a huge wrench on the legitimacy of the UFC as a true sport.

the way bobby celebrated beating a dude on a 5 fight losing streak, specially after eye poking and getting dropped, I wouldn't be surprised if he somehow asked for a titleshot after this
