The Missing Coach was planned (and filmed) as part of the second series of 'Thomas & Friends' when the season originally aired in 1986. Half of the episode had been filmed before it was cancelled, due to the fact that its story was considered too confusing for younger audiences.
In 2020, photographic stills from the episode were discovered and have paved the way for many adaptations and reconstructions on what could've been the official introduction of Scottish twins Donald and Douglas.
And now, I am proud to present my take on this lost gem, complete with some of the original images and a few custom ones of my own, just to fill in the gaps for scenes that weren't filmed.
