Asterion Moloc definitely uses that combat data upload or indoctrination. Perturabo did the same with the cybernetics on his armor, to absorb as much combat data as possible, and it was even called "The Logos".

In the HH books, they make it a point that the Khan's helmet comes from a place that suspiciously sounds like Chang'An and Qin Xa's armor incorporates designs from one of the Palatine's cities which is basically japan. Thus Yuan dynasty China comes to mind when I look at the inspiration for the white scars

The Minotaurs being Iron Warriors successors and specializing in the destruction (and incredible levels of paranoia) of other space marines would make sense if they were aware of that lineage. Always striving to make up for the past crimes of their gene-sire and knowing full well that even if Sons of Iron can fall, then anyone can: they are ever vigilant and look at any faction as a potential threat to the people of the Imperium (which is why they would attack custodes and follow the High Lords).

My theory on why they are so powerful is that they all are thunder warriors with chimeric astartes geneseed from Iron warriors and World Eaters. Asterion Moloc hasn't died at all since he's super tough being a thunder warrior and astartes hybrid.

Calling it now the Minotaurs are part alpha legion. Asterion being a demi-primarch made one of the twins.

Damn finally someone talking about the inceptors my space marines that I painted when I was 13 and was really bad at painting.

I've heard of them a little bit, but this is the first video I've seen where the Minotaurs are described in detail. Great video as always! Speaking of Greek references, would you consider doing a video on The Gorgon and his Iron Hands? I know they haven't been really active since the DSM, but they seem like a really unique chapter.

​@@lloydbrianbonifacio8206 I wouldn't read so much into it. Moloc appears so tough and big because he is literaly covered in artificerTerminator armour and gear, including a storm shield. Not just your run of the mill relic stuff, but the finest. That plus Moloc's combat prowess against an avarage Custodes, would only come down to a fair fight. Now imagine Valarian was clad in Allarus Terminator armour, and weilded sentinel blade and stormshield. Things would look *very* different.

The Space Spartans to the Iron Snakes' Space Athenians. Also they are either descended from World Eaters, Iron Warriors, or both. Edit: They also live in mazes. I'm not kidding. Their ships have actual Minotaur Labyrinths.

The Minotaurs are confirmed to be iron warriors officially. So yeah there is no secret about that.

Not really. A lot of people say this even though there is no real lore pointing to that that I have ever seen or heard of. I know some random Black Library writer said years ago that they were Iron Warriors, but he is only one guy and and its only his opinion. It also makes very little sense. Especially if you are actually familiar with both factions. if you read The Outcast Dead novel, I think you will agree that they are most likely enhanced Thunder Warriors or that the modern ones are space marines descended from Thunder Warriors that survived the Emperor purging them. Same armor colors, same behavior issues, distrustful of Space Marines for obvious reasons, chimeric gene-seed, and their chapter heraldry matches that of Arik Taranis, one of the last and most powerful Thunder Warriors who survived. Arik took geneseed from two legionaries in the book to fix the issues the Thunder Warriors had with physical degradation. I mean...its pretty much ALL there in that novel. Everyone who thinks they are Iron Warriors is just like "They are both paranoid...so yeah. Same."

I remember the Martian mech-man made some new gen Space Marines at some point, and that they were pretty much all deemed heretic in nature. Maybe a vid on those chapters (especially the bone dragons cuz they're salamanders and thus great by default) might be interesting?

I'd love to see a video on the black dragons, or the crimson fists. Both would be very interesting to me.
