On the topic of exhausts, what would you recommend for an R56 S? Borla, Milltek or ? Just beginning my research. I am looking for nice deep note but no highway drone and not too aggressive.

How do you compare the GP3 with the JCW Clubman Launch Edition with the Pro Exhaust?

The MINIac Thanks for the response. I have the Launch Edition and love the acceleration. I embarrass many German car owners.
Did the dealer mention anything special about the pro exhaust install? I have it on my F56 and absolutely need to add it to the GP now! My dealer told me it couldn't be done as the GP needs a special map after the GPF removal which they don't have.

It depends on whether you are in the US or not. If your car has a GPF you cannot fit the Pro exhaust without a map and it will void the warranty. If it doesn’t have a GPF it doesn’t need a map and the Pro exhaust doesn’t void the warranty.

@@pjb9022 Thank you both. My understanding is that the US cars have the GPF even though they are not required (easier for Mini to build all 3000 the same). Would not effect emissions testing to remove it but the map issue remains for US cars as well?

The MINIac EU spec cars have a GPF in the exhaust system that reduces emissions. If you install a Pro exhaust on a GPF car it will throw all sorts of faults. Would be interesting to know whether or not MINI makes two versions of the GP, being one with and the other without GPF. Information on the GP is scarce so I can’t find an answer.
The owner let you drive it before it was PDI’d? Did you follow proper break-in?
The loud and obnoxious you wanted will be magnified by the lack of dampening from "extras" in the back - rear seats, etc.
Nice Review..Other Reviews indicated a little lag in the gear shift...and not so enthusiastic about the GP3 overall. I am a little confused...
Does that’s one have the Bluetooth exhaust?
