For the record, I respect Shane and what he’s done on youtube. He seems a great dude. I stand by what I said here (some points were jokes obviously) I think it’s fair criticism, he makes content worth talking about and that is commendable in itself.

Why is it just down to the woman to raise their child? I personally think a woman should be able to go back to her career and raise a child with the support of family and the father to enable that child to have the best upbringing."If you weren't in the position to raise the kid then why did you have it?" I think that quote is rather extreme to use in regard to a woman going back to work; if anything continuing the career could help support the family.

I love Shane but I really felt weird about the second part of his documentary. The constant "I'm literally shaking" after learning basic traits about sociopaths got tiring, along with the horror film editing and the the therapist who kept referring to things as "icky" or gross. On top of that he kept wondering which of his friends are sociopaths and going on about that, now people are pointing fingers on social media calling one another sociopaths.

His fan base doesn’t know jake Paul. And since his fan base was hating on him, the first part of the series makes sense. He needed to show who this person was that he was so interested in learning about. It might seem crazy for people of KZread not to know who he is, but Shane has an older audience that would never watch anything to do with jake Paul. For me at least, it helped me understand the documentary’s purpose and why.

I've watched your podcasts with the Paul's and with KSI/Deji, but those weren't quite as long. All I can say is after watching this podcast the entire way through, you've gained yourself a full-time viewer. The story-telling, the criticism, the comedy, and the knowledge, all blend together for an extremely likable and enjoyable viewing experience. Looking forward to the next podcast, Geordie, and congrats on the 6 pounds lost. Keep up the excellent work!

You said women should not have children if they don’t have the time to look after them. But you need to view men the same way, there are a lot of men who think women should be the only involved parent and her life should stop and revolve around her children while he can continue to grow his career. Everyone has ambitions, at the end of the day I think there should be a balance with career and family life for both men and women. The women I know work, cook take their children to school and essentially are juggling both the traditional role of women and the more modern financial role women. The women you are talking about do exist but you should know there are many more women who are genuine working mothers.

Fair play to you. I can’t believe he would suggest such things, nothing about the men that helped create the child in the first place. No one really has the time to look after children with work! But we make time!!! Called being a parent, responsibilities, growing up! This is what a bit of money and thinking he better than others now.

Here's my issue with the whole thing. Only phycohologists and psychiatrists can actually make diagnosis. They spend at least 12 years in school to do so (4 years as a undergraduate, 4 years in medical school and 4 years in an residency) and even they sometimes have a difficult time making a proper diagnosis with similar mental health disorders such as sociopath, narcissist, and psychopathy due to their similarities but phychologists and psychiatrists understand the spectrum of these disorders which is why they are able to differentiate between the spectrum and differences to make a proper diagnosis. BUT SOMEHOW IN THE WORLD OF KZread A PERSON WHO IM ASSUMING ONLY HAS A MASTER OR BACHELOR DEGREE PROBABLY IN BEHAVIORAL SCIENCE AND WORKED AS A MARRIAGE COUNSELOR IS LEADING PEOPLE TO BELIEVE THAT SHE CAN MAKE A DIAGNOSIS ON A PERSON. WHEN SHE KNOWS SHE DOES NOT HAVE THE MERITS NOR THE EDUCATION TO DO SO, and it's annoying that no one is calling them out for that. Also if and when a therapist does make a "diagnosis" it's for insurance purposes so that a patient/client doesn't have to pay out of pocket for counseling

  • @snowdoll622

Michelle Lynn she’s one of the worst therapists I’ve ever seen, and 100% the reason I don’t go to therapists for mental health treatment. Someone that is a sex or relationship counselor isn’t able to diagnose and handle mental illness in a good and healthy way. She’s basically armchair diagnosing someone.

It's on the Shane's channel so OBVIOSLY it's dramatic, cheesy, spooky and flamboyant. The guy used to do tones of haunted hotels videos and conspiracy theories videos. I don't believe in those things but I was finding it entertaining because of his personality and delivery. I don't think first two episodes are flawless. I agree with many things you said. You feel women are now more aggressive more in control and are essentially saying you're disappointed that women aren't as submissive now as they used to be and that annoys you?! Come on mate, think about what you're saying! Women have been oppressed since the beginning of time and only now are they starting to get equal treatment. This is something that you should be positive about! Love your vids man but this point of view of yours really touched a nerve.

The way he talks about women is often degrading in some way and usually just a bit tongue in cheek and the kind of thing you expect to hear from the average geezer, in this episode though just went over the top by showing his true colours and it's really disappointing to see.

I feel like I really started to notice that you do really justify yourself everyone knows you can make a good documentary and you are a talented youtuber but sometimes you should just say well done rather than I’d make a better documentary. And I understand you do say you like the documentaries and praise Shane but still it is slightly annoying you always saying ‘ I could do a better job than that ....’ I understand you and Larz are just critiquing it but still id say you should’ve waited for the whole documentary series to have come out and should take into context his audience which is very different to yours so his style is very different and he’s gotta dramatise his documentary to suite his audience btw I’m not even the biggest Shane Dawson fan and watch your content all the time so I’m not being bias

Honestly the second episode was really shit. Horror edits and Shane acting shocked as he learnt about very common traits that sociopaths exhibit. I like what Shane does, but sociopaths are not intrinsically evil people. Its a disorder and these are human beings. I think the therapist/professional for someone who was supposed to be objective and understanding of these things used despicable language calling them 'icky' and 'gross'. I can only help liken it to a therapist calling someone with anxiety a pussy or someone with depression a downer. Which from a professional is really bad. I think it's almost comically ironic that Shane is exploring people who lack empathy, while clearly himself lacking any kind of empathy for these people who at the end of the day are human beings. Now this is not me saying Shane lakes empathy, because he clearly does, but he's exploiting this for money and sensationalisation. I hear people saying I'm glad he's bringing this to light, but if taking the piss with comedy edits is how thats done, then it only serves to further stigmatise ASPD and frankly the world of mental health in general. I can only see younger more impressionable kids going around now and self diagnosing other people, because that's the only exposure they would have had to this kind of thing. Anyway Thats my two cents, feel free to reply and tell me why you think I'm wrong. Cheers Gordie for the upload xoxo

I've looked at KZread (Mainly people who vlog, as they've been the ones that took off) as if it's the new Reality TV. On a show like Big Brother, we got an hours worth of content every day for about 12 weeks of the year. Most KZreadrs at the top are giving us 20 minutes every day 24/7. It's reality TV on a whole new level. Establishing a character they put together for fans. Once they were big enough, they started drama with other KZreadrs that had also established the same thing. E.G. KSI v Logan Paul. Last year was an absolute shit show for this. Everything backfiring and most people being careless about their actions. But this year I feel like it's been much more contained between fake beef. Which even though I don't really like I find much more of an interesting approach since it's less harmful but still does a good job for building each channels fanbase. This was just a response to when you guys started talking about what you think KZread has become :)

I think you should take a look at the comments under Jake Pauls latest video - so many people calling Jake a sociopath because of Shane's video 😂

people called him a sociopath way b4 that as well, its just a few of shanes fans who hate jake paul, but have watched the vid of shanes bc they're fans, and are now being rude to him bc they don't like him. Shane is trying to find out whether he is a sociopath or not and is trying to prove it

@@paige6776 exactly I mean if you watch the first part of the series Shane specifically says he was already going to do a series on sociopaths and people kept going to shane and describing Jake Paul as one

Geordie please mate, if you can do a better job please show. I don’t like the geeza either but this is a hour plus of slagging someone off with them not even in the room so they can’t defend themselves. Just get a sense you’re getting too big for your own good now, yeah have an opinion but don’t say they’re all wrong not really knowing his side behind the camera
