We can agree to disagree. A goal is better. But let not "having no goal" be an excuse to be lazy. A step towards no goal is a step to nowhere but it's a good start to making a journey of one step or a thousand miles.

@@arlenecimafranca3222Well said, Arlene. Various Disciplines have their variations of "takes" on goals or ikigais, for simplicity's sake. E.g.. A Christian would claim, "God knew you before you were formed in your mother's womb." (Jeremiah 1:5). Another example is Dr. Chopra: "Grass doesn't try to grow. It just grows." I'm just grateful for the experience of being able to watch the same video. The words convey different meaning to the "consciousness behind the eyeballs."

🔥THE GOSPEL OF THE WORD OF ALMIGHTY GOD "the last age in which God is saving man from the imminent destruction of this old world" (God incarnate is called Christ, and Christ is the human body clothed by the Spirit of God. He is the incarnation of the Spirit. He has both normal humanity and full divinity. Whether human or it is His divinity, both of them submit to the will of the Father in heaven. The Spirit is the spirit of Christ, which means the divinity. This is what all people must understand. The spirit of the work of the Holy Spirit is to save man, and for the sake of God's own rule. Since God became flesh, He realizes His spirit within His human body, that His human body is sufficient to carry out His work. Whether it is the Spirit of God or whether it is Christ, both are God Himself, and He does the work He should do and fulfills the ministry He should perform.) Almighty God said GOD incarnate is called CHRIST, and CHRIST is the flesh clothed by the SPIRIT of GOD. 🙏 This human body is not like any human being in the flesh. This difference is because CHRIST is NOT made of FLESH and BLOOD; He is the incarnation of the SPIRIT. He has BOTH NORMAL HUMANITY and FULL DIVINITY. 🙏 No man possesses His divinity. His normal humanity sustains all His normal activities in the human body, while His divinity accomplishes the work of God Himself. Whether it is His humanity or His divinity, they both submit to the will of the Father in heaven. The SPIRIT is the SPIRIT of CHRIST, meaning the GOD HEAD. Therefore, His SPIRIT is GOD HIMSELF; this SPIRIT will not INTERFERE with His OWN WORK, and He cannot possibly do anything that would destroy His own work, nor will He utter any words that are contrary to His own will. ☀️ Therefore, God incarnate will absolutely never do any work that interferes with His own governance. This is what all people should understand. The INTENT of the WORK of the HOLY SPIRIT is to SAVE MAN, and for the SAKE of GOD'S OWN RULE. ☀️ Similarly, the work of CHRIST is also to SAVE MAN, and it is for the WILL of GOD. Since GOD HAS BEEN INCARNATED, He REALIZES His SPIRIT within His HUMAN BODY, that His HUMAN BODY is SUFFICIENT to CARRY OUT His WORK. 🙏 Therefore, ALL the WORKS of the SPIRIT of GOD were REPLACED by the WORKS of CHRIST during the INCARNATION, and at the CORE of all the WORKS during the ENTIRE INCARNATION was the WORKS of CHRIST. ☀️ It CANNOT be MIXED with WORK from ANY OTHER ERA. And SINCE GOD BECOMES FLESH, He WORKS in the IDENTITY of His FLESH; since He COMES in the HUMAN BODY, He thus FINISHES in the HUMAN BODY the WORK He has to DO. ☀️ Whether it is the SPIRIT of GOD or CHRIST, both of them are GOD HIMSELF, and He DOES the WORK that He should DO and PERFORMS the MINISTRY that He should PERFORM. 🙏 From "The Spirit of Christ is Obedience to the Will of the Father in Heaven" Fulfillment of "When I looked up, someone handed me a book wrapped in a scroll. I opened it and I read on both sides the prayers, sorrows, and curses." (Ezekiel 2:9-10). ... "His garment was stained with blood. He was called the "Word of God" (Rev. 19:13). The kingdom He brought down and set up in the highest in the sky so that it can occupy His creation in the universe and engrave on it the entirety of His Holy name "THE CHURCH OF ALMIGHTY GOD" 💐 fulfillment of (Mat. 16:18) "And I say as for you, you are Peter, on top of this rock I will build my Church, that even the power of death will not prevail over it.". ... and "The Letter to the Church in Philadelphia" (Rev. 3:7-13). ... And fulfillment of "The New Jerusalem" 💫 "The Spirit enveloped me, and the angel led me to the top of a very high mountain. He showed Me Jerusalem, the Holy City, coming down from heaven from God." (Rev. 3:7-13). ... " For the time has come in the house of God for the beginning of judgment in the house of God." (1 Peter 4:17). ... It is fulfilled that God Himself is our Pastor in (Rev. 7:17) 💐 "For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their PASTOR. He will lead them to springs of life-giving water; and God will wipe the tears from their eyes" 📩 Calling and leading the sheep of God to His glorious Throne "THE CHURCH OF ALMIGHTY GOD"💐 to submit again to His authority so that He will continue to teach, guide and protect even in plague, famine and wild animals will not be moved by it and completely win this final battle with the big red dragon! "They say with a loud voice, "Salvation comes from the Lamb, and from our God who sits on the Throne!" (Rev. 7:10). ... and it will be fulfilled that will be established above the sky/KZread in (Isaiah 2: 2 / 9:6) "On the Last Day, the mountain on which Jehovah's temple stands will stand out above all the mountains. All nations will flock there. " . . . "For a baby boy is born to us. The rule will be given to him; and he shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Almighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace." 💌📨

Break your laziness down, divide and conquer. You don't have to climb a mountain in your first try it even in one go. Set a 5 minute timer and commit to doing your best for 5 minutes. If that's too much then 3 or 1 minute. Start small and be victorious, use the momentum of your victory to set more small goals and pave the way forward with success and good habits!

I had failed all of my exams back in university days. I had felt no motivation to move one inch for years. Then out of nowhere an exam was tasked on me, and I decided to give it a shot. I prepared for it genuinely, and cleared on first attempt. People who I discussed it with told me how difficult of an exam it was. I signed up for another exam, in order to clear that as well and find jobs. I never felt this motivated to take exam and look for jobs before. I would always fall in imposter syndrome. But my 1 achievement gave me confidence to keep moving. It is necessary to achieve little and move ahead from there. It feels like magical.

Sadly, the daughter died shortly afterwards, and it was only around that time that it transpired that the reason for her apparent laziness was from a lack of energy due to diabetes, which was not diagnosed until too late. This is about "pull" motivation (an exciting thing pulling you forward), as opposed to "push"motivation (having external forces driving you, or you learning to drive yourself). It seems we need pull until we can see the benefit of learning to push ourselves.

To me, the lesson is to recall positive moments and success that you have achieved in the past. Be inspired and remember that you had done it before, you can do it again. Then you heart sparks. Sometimes, when you are so downtrodden, and you see no solutions, you forget that you are capable of amazing things. Then, the key is to make the first step forward.

to me the lesson is to wait around long enough for someone to challenge you. but what if there is no one around to challenge you? Only around to knock you down over again and instill doubt. Do i abandon that place? seek refuge where i do not hav to hear people discouraging me all the time? i have been my only positive voice in my mind for so long. all my efforts easily looked over. im the only one that sees my progress. i cheer for myself in each step to move forward only to be crushed everytime. im the only one that knows hard ive been trying with nothing to show. He who lays in the grass all day under the shade with total peace of mind of himself is to be left alone. But the one that is trapped in shadows that deafen the light of the sun are loosing battles to the cold, yet fight to keep the fire within themselves burning so that they might see another day to try. Meanwhile those who walk in the sun see no one there in the illusion of the shadows. Greeted by warmth and sun, they live viciously in their rightful energy. A wilted flower is not lazy.

Start with small tasks and break the larger ones up into smaller approachable nuggets. Do the less favorable tasks first. Having somewhat of a routine will instigate discipline and consistency. Reward yourself at the end of the day. And if you didn’t get it right today, you can try again tomorrow. Don’t punish yourself. Love and encourage yourself to keep on moving forward.

The story shows the young man being motivated by the sense of accomplishment, making it all worth it. This, however, is not a given. In my first semester of university, I pushed myself above all limits, studying every hour I could without burning out completely (roughly 80/week). By the end, I had a 3.4 GPA. This was not what I hoped for and left me burned out for a while with a reward not big enough to spark any lasting desire for more. Thus, it is important to have a reward big enough to make it worth it or your brain will not wash away the hardship.

1/The story begins with a monk coaching and inspiring: a teacher. 2/There are setbacks in life caused by hatred, sabotage, falsehood, destructive minds from people towards life itself. (like war situations and soldiers getting to suffer from ptss for example). Even if we get loads of difficulties and people trying to pick on and on and on and on on us, for selfish, mean or just fulish and certainly stupid reasons (is there a war that is not stupid?), we still must go on, though the system gets tired, not willing to give up, but depressed and in different ways concentration and focus hurt. By the anger of other peoples´ ego..you then get an overload of stress and problems to deal with, which or not even your own problems, not even your own ´lazyness´, but that of others and more. Depressed might look lazy, it is not that simple to deal with... In this story and advising ´mind-blowing´ wisdom is nothing about how to get rid of the lazyness that some people overcome by hurting and violencing and disrespecting someone who works hard. To get rid of the setbacks created through people who trying to bully and sabotage and make war for no reason at all, whom do so to try to steal energy and spirit and getting ´life´ at the costs of others.. a not natural setback, but from low: much lower then lazyness, namely wicked, the setbacks coming from cowards, the wars from idiots.. at the cost of time and soul.. at the cost of LIFE Mind-blowing Zen to me starts always with 1/ Teacher-coach (help from higher), 2/ To practise what we have learned. Simple and powerful technics are not discussed here, nor any secret. Protect life as much as you can!

For me personally, the video misses the most impactful point from a practical standpoint. I think most of us know that laziness is something we must overcome. As a side note, the video doesn't take into account all of the possible mental roadblocks we face from genetics, trauma, anxiety, etc. that lead to habitual laziness, but that's another discussion... To me the lesson here that we can take into our daily life is 'Just get started.' Motivation doesn't come from words or a good pep talk. That will only take you so far. Motivation comes from the smallest of actions. He started, he felt the need to keep going based on the positive feelings of taking action, and he finished the job. Make getting started easy, and you'll take that first step. Just my rambling two cents.

Every single progression of our species is the fruits of our laziness, We started agriculture to provide easy and sustainable food without having to hunt and gather, we dug wells so we didn't have to travel miles each day to fresh water sources. We reared beasts of burden and then developed machines to do all the manual labour and assist us and expedite travel. We consistently strive forward to make the burdens of living less. A modernized analogy of this proverb would be the old man owns the mountain, he demands 80% of all the feathers you find and if you ever find enough feathers to do more than sustain yourself the government starts taking more of the remaining feathers away. So, be sure you really enjoy collecting feathers as your screwed either way.

Laziness is not a "challenge"; it has reasons. Maybe just sadness, maybe you're fatigued and need a vacation, maybe you're sick, maybe you feel everything you do is pointless, or you're tired of a routine that leads to no progress, or your salary is too low in a lousy job, or you're the whole day obbligated to do tasks you don't want to, etc. Also the video talks about sticking to a schedule; the problem is, unexpected things happen and interfere. So this video must have been done by a big achiever. "Winners don't understand losers"; it's all so easy to them because it always has been.

Yes, when we are feeling very low it's hard to motivate ourselves. The word lazy is often used to describe people who are not contributing to anything meaningful but why should anyone who is disenchanted with life suddenly try to start achieving things that others are doing? Just follow your own path whatever is affecting you be that depression or feeling stable and emotionally balanced.
